This has to be the best auction house in NSW. I have dealt with many auction houses over many years but have never found any that were as honest, efficient, friendly and dedicated to ensuring the best price is achieved for both the buyer and the seller. I mostly bid online and Jules and her fellow worker are fantastic. The moment that a bid appears on their site Jules calls out - she never misses a bid, she is always alert,and never takes her eyes off the screen. Additionally the auctioneers always allow adequate time for the bids to register. I have complete faith in their description of the items for auction, as well, because they will always endeavour to point out any and all faults. Therefore if I have been unable to attend a viewing, I can still bid on items with confidence. As a bonus, the auctioneers are very passionate about their job and make the auction enjoyable for people in their rooms as well as viewers online.

I had lived in the area for several years before I bothered going in to Bargain Hunt Auctions for a look, and then it was another couple of years before I went back to check them out again. It is clear that they have worked very hard to build up not only the quality of their premises but also the range and quality of their stock. What a great place it is now! There is something for everyone... artwork, jewellery, collectibles, furniture, tools, memorabilia, books, bric-a-brac... you name it, it will appear sooner or later. You can also register to watch the auction live online (and bid online in real time) but it is most fun to actually be there and get caught up in the moment. A family-run business, it is really lovely to see two (or perhaps three?) generations all working harmoniously together to make this complex process run like a well-oiled machine. I have bought there on several occasions and have been extremely pleased with my wins. Pop in for half an hour or stay all day... it would be very easy to get hooked!

The bargains are amazing! You can get such great antiques for low prices, vintage collectives and household goods that are suited to lots of people's tastes (from Victorian to retro to modern etc.) My house is really becoming a metaphorical museum of great Bargain Hunt Auction things. I am obsessed. I got my friends and family involved in bidding as well, and they have not been disappointed once! The staff are incredibly fun, friendly and down to earth, and their buyer's premium is really affordable! I say definitely go and give it a try!

This is a great day out. We have bought a number of items through them & have got some great bargains. It's fun just watching the auctioneers do their thing & browsing through the items on display. Worth a visit!

There are some really special bargains still to be had here because they have not been around all that long.
They have an auction every 2 weeks and it is well publicized and very well attended.
