Had a fantastic lunch. Lunch time specials weekdays, chicken or beef schnitzel, butterfish or roast. Fantastic salad bar and hot veges to choose from. Winter or summer.

Dinner here and we chose the chicken schnitzels at $20 which included the topping. The meal was well cooked and presented and there was a salad bar as well. Hotel was just as remembered and everyone had a smile too. Children's menu available too.

When staying in Barmera it has become a bit of a tradition to have dinner at the Barmera Hotel. Always friendly and welcoming with a good menu with reasonable prices. This time had the steak which was cooked as requested. Memories again revived.

It is always a given that we have dinner one night here at the Barmera Hotel. Have been coming here for many years (about 40) whenever in Barmera. Good menu, good prices, good service. It has become a tradition and one that we have enjoyed this trip.

The meals at this hotel are excellent. I have never had a problem with anything. There is usually about ten different salads to choose from and they have the same ones all the time, they make a great variety. Then on top of a great salad bar the have hot veges, potato bake, roast potato, pumpkin peas cauli. The have lunch specials for $14.90. We always have chicken schnitzel, the gravies are really nice. Cant go wrong. They have a gaming area, some video games for the kids. The dining room is huge. You will not be dissappointed with this hotel

Used to dine quite abit when living in Barmera.We were always happy with their meals and they always had specials of the day. The pricing was reasonable and the staff and attention were great. They also have a lovely beer garden where they have live music on some weekends.

Before moving away from the area, we often used to go to this hotel for meals. Always found the food and selection very nice. They have daily lunch specials with a good variety of salads and hot veg

We had lunch at the Barmera hotel today and as usual it was delicious. We always have chicken snitzel. Hubby says the mushroom gravy is tasty, I always have the pepper gravy where ever I go and the pepper gravy here is hot and delicious. Omg the salads, there are about 10 salads to choose from and then they have hot veg as well. They have the best choice in the riverland we think. Go here for lunch and you wont be dissappointed.

as this hotel is under new management,they seem to have a lot to learn,the bistro dining is badly overpriced,and doesn't seem to have very friendly service,the hotel is in need for some major renovations,and would beefit the township if it was upgraded,the meals are not of high quality as out of 10 meals I have had there would only say 4 were very nice,compared to other riverland hotels,they do need to lift their game and hope they sort out the pricing problem and get the renovations done

WE ate here recently for lunch and had a really relaxing lunch. They have a lovely outdoor area where we sat. They have daily specials which looked really good. I will go back if I am ever in Barmera.
