We had lunch here on Sunday. I have been to The Holdy plenty of times and like the outdoor area as well as the bistro.It is a very nice area with a good atmosphere. There was plenty on the menu to choose from and they also had a good specials menu which unfortunately we were too late for. There were four of us (2 couples) paying seperately but on the same table. We ordered together on the same number and two of us had almost finished eating when the other two meals arrived. They also forgot my husbands coffee and he had to remind them twice. The meals were generous and nice but definately not sensational. I had the salmon which was nicely cooked with a gluggy risotto and an overpowering sauce. It was OK but I wouldn't get it again. The others all seemed to like theirs but no one was singing praises. I did see some other meals and they all looked nice. I guess maybe I just picked badly. I am sure that I will give it another go at some stage.

We recently had dinner here. The service was good and the staff pleasant. The restaurant was quite noisy even though it wasn't full but was nice enough. The food was very nice. We had curry puffs which were very nice and the pad thai was delicious. I enjoyed the thai green curry but think I can do a better job with the massamam curry. Overall everything we had was very nice and there was nothing left when we left. It is in the entertainment book which makes the price reasonable.

I go here often when i need a cake for a party. They have a great selection of lovely looking cakes at really good prices. You can also get single serve birthday cakes which are cute. The service is always good and the place always looks clean.

We go to the casino restaurant regularly with a group that we are involved in. The food varies but is never sensational. They have some seafood which is nice but nothing special and casserole dishes and roasts. The last time we were there most of the casseroles had large pieces of meat in them so too much to eat at a buffet. There weren't a lot of vegetables which was a shame. Some dishes were very nice but most average. The sweets selection is quite good - the pannacotta was my favourite. The service was a bit slow but not too bad. This place used to be fantastic years ago and has declined a lot in later years.

I love Subway as the food is fresh and you can choose exactly what you would like . This place is always clean and the staff are quick and friendly. The prices are reasonable too.

This is a very tired place to stay. The rooms could definitely do with a good clean up. The service was good. We ate in their restaurant there called Swish and the food was terrible. I won't be rushing back in a hurry.

The rooms here are very nice with big balcony's that you can sit on and enjoy the view. The rooms are clean and spacious as well. There is a night club and big bar as well as a few different restaurants on the premises which is handy but can be noisy on a weekend. They are close to Jetty Rd and right by the marina at Glenelg where there are plenty of nice restaurants. I would certainly stay here again.

This is a good value place to stay in Adelaide. The rooms are a bit tired though and could do with a bit of doing up. The staff are very helpful and I have never eaten there but have heard good reviews about it.

WE stayed here after booking the mystery special on wotif. It was very nice, the room was lovely and it was clean. The service seemed OK although we had to wait to get our car out of the carpark for quite a while. I would certainly stay there again.

This is a really good place to go for a beer and a bet. The beer was really cold and tasted great. They have a TAB and pokies as well. We didn't eat there as we left it too late but the food looked really good. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
