Went to this cafe for Breakfast- it was very busy but we got a nice table in the upstairs section. Our meals were good- but not brilliant. We had to wait awhile to place my order, when our meals arrived there was a mistake made with my order- it was a bit difficult to attract a staff members attention- but once we did they were apologetic and fixed the order.

Fantastic food with great variety. Very busy so service can be a little slow but the staff are lovely. Excellent venue for a leisurely brunch.

Barmuda is a lovely cafe on Australia St, a bit away from the busyness of King St. It's a wonderful open cafe with seating outdoors, making it most definitely child and baby friendly- its full of mothers with prams every time I walk past. I've been here once for breakfast, and I was pretty pleased. I had toast with vegemite and a yoghurt dish with muesli. I remember thinking the price was a bit high for just a small serving of yoghurt, but it was fresh and tasty (and healthy). The staff are friendly and it's always packed, so customers must love it.

est cafe in Newtown by far. Great consistent coffee. Food is fantastic. Staff are very accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble, even if you're there with a young child. Friend recommended coffee at Black Star Pantry couple of doors up. Popped in there and staff were chatting away and texting while I stood waiting to be served. Straight back to Barmuda.
