This review is for Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, Ultimo NSW

This is an excellent aquatic centre located at Ulitmo. It is state of the art and very modern, being only a few years old. There's a shallow warm swimming pool for beginners and those wanting to relax, a lap pool and a large amusement pool with fountain and sprinklers. My son loved it. Entry is about $6. I love the vibe here. There's a good cafe with reasonably priced food. And a lovely sitting area outside where you can see city views of Darling Harbour / Ultimo. Very highly recommended.

This review is for Enmore Medical Centre, Enmore NSW

I've been to this centre a handul of times, and most times there is quite a bit of a wait. But this is with all medical centres. One time, however, the receptionist knocked me back and said they were full with appointments and wouldn't talk a walk in. So, its best to ring and check before you go in, and maybe make an appointment. The interior could do with a revamp - the carpet is getting a little bit out of date. But the doctors are good here.

This review is for Bank's Thai Restaurant, Enmore NSW

This is a good little restaurant with very authentic Thai decor, including things like buddha statues, cushions, etc so you feel like you are in Thailand. The food is tasty, and good, but sometimes a little less sauce and oil wouldn't hurt. I had pad see-ew noodles with chicken which was around $12. Good, though there are lots of more cheaper restaurants in nearby king st. Out front, there is a sign that says this is rated 6th best of the Thai restaurants in Sydney. Would be fabulous if they lowered the prices.

This review is for Torinos Pizza Restaurant, Enmore NSW

I would give these guys a 7.5 out of 10. The pizzas are good, traditional style with a nice balance of cheese and toppings. I had the meatlovers which was packed with beef and very tasty. I have not yet eaten in, but the delivery was on time, and the pizzas were hot.

This review is for Enmore Delicious Rolls, Enmore NSW

This place is a hidden gem for a quick, cheap and tasty bite to eat. They have pork rolls, pies, Vietnamese beef pho soup, rice rolls, and lots of variations too. It's so hard to find a pork roll in this part of town, especially since the Newtown ones have long shut down. So I was happy to find this place. I had a yummy pork roll which was very filling, and at $4.50 was not hard on the wallet at all. If I have more time, I might try the soup next time, looks very yummy on the menu board!

I absolutely love Indian food, and this place delivered - the food was delicious and I will definitely be back for more. I had the butter chicken which was divine, such a rich fusion of flavours and spices. They had so many dishes on offer, some that I'd never even heard of, but also lots of well known curries like vindaloo, korma, rogan josh lamb, etc. The staff were friendly and attentive and the surrounds pleasant.

This is a good, homely Chinese restaurant which makes you feel at ease. The staff are really friendly, and the decor is humble and pleasant with lovely country art on the walls. I liked it. I dropped by for a chicken wonton soup which was warming and delicious. This place offers authentic Chinese food at an affordable price. My soup was $8.80. Definately would recommend this place.

This review is for Simply Noodles Newtown, Newtown NSW

I came in here the other day to have Singapore Noodles because I was starving. The food was yummy, though a little oily and came out reasonably quickly, which was a plus for me, being as hungry as I was. The atmosphere is nice and clean, with lots of space as there wasn't too many other customers around. The staff could have been a little friendlier, and the prices could go down a bit considering you could get Thai food in Newtown for $6, whereas here it costs around $8-$9 for a feed.

This review is for The Cushion House, Glebe NSW

I really loved the Cushion House. It's a wonderful and unique place located in Glebe offering Turkish cuisine in lovely Turkish surroundings. The decor consists of Turkish tiles, art, cushions and lovely Turkish lights. The atmsophere was impressive. The food was great too, very reasonably priced. It was hard to choose from as the menu was quite broad but I had a dish called a manti which was a kind of dough stuffed with beef. The sauce was lovely. My son tasted some and had a bowl of chips. All in all, a great dining experience.

Approximate cost: $20

I have only been here once, but I was happy with my meal which was a green curry. It was tasty with lots of flavour and came out pretty quickly. A good quantity is offered, and so I left feeling very full and satisfied. I like the vibe here, its very comfortable and funky. You can find cheaper Thai food in Newtown, but this is still good value for money.
