Fantastic friendly staff and the best focaccia and coffee in Hastings. Great for a casual lunch with a nice selection of food and desserts. Very well priced and generus servings.

I really like coming here for a coffee and they make a great chicken and herb focaccia. Although when I ordered eggs benedict the eggs came out not cooked properly but the service was satisfying when I told them I wasn't happy. The service here is always welcoming. the meal sizes are decent and the price is affordable

This cafe has recently changed ownership. They have updated the inside and out, and its looks very appealing. The food is very tasty and the new staff very friendly. Wifi is also a bonus.

Although there menu is not that appealing to me, i do love the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the cafe. i love the fact that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating and now they also offer free wifi. there have been plenty of times where i have just taken my son in to use the bathroom and they have been fine with that unlike many cafes/restaurants these days. make you want to go there again and again.

I really enjoyed eating at the beach hut especially since the new owners. the staff are friendly, precise and on the ball. The food tastes fantastic and is very appetising. My friends and I go at least once a fortnight.

We have attended the beach hut cafe on many occassions and held family functions there. New Management has taken over and we went to try it our last Friday night - it was lovely - So back we went last night - we pulled up out the front there were customers inside and the door tag stated OPEN - out we get in the pouring rain and as we were approaching the door the young lass turn the door tag to closed and laughed at us. Well now you will not have our business that is just plain RUDE.

I'm loving this Hastings local. Its decor is quirky and lives up to its name with a beach hut feel. Service is quick and friendly and I know I am not alone when reporting on the overly generous serving sizes. I'd recommend that other locals and visitors to the area give The Beach Hut Cafe a try because the operating hours are customer friendly - offering all day breakfast dishes, but also staying open well into the evening, when other High Street Cafes have long since closed their doors for the day. Themed nights make for a very inexpensive, yet delicious night out - and include: Parmi Night (Vegetarians catered for with eggplant parmi), Roast Dinner night, Steak Night etc. My family particularly enjoy their fantastic vegetarian burger, the likes of which we have never enjoyed as much anywhere else. Milkshake prices are way below cost of many other milk bars - and are served in a tall glass with the remainder of your serve in the milkshake mixer cup. Nothing is spared. An easy night out too for those with less mobility, with parking right at the door, and a simple, off-street appeal.

With its laid back atmosphere Beach Hut cafe is one of the best places in hasting to get a meal.With their large serving sizes and breakfast all day long,even you late sleepers have no excuse not to come on in and chow down.
