Very responsive In undertaking the work at short notice.They were also extremely generous in the extra time they took to discuss the report so that I had a good understanding of the issues and possible scopes of work and repairs. Great people.

I recently acquired Bear Bottom Building and Pest inspections services just prior to a property auction I was attending. My overall experience with this company was highly satisfying; with a prompt turn around at short notice, professional detailed reports and excellent communication throughout. I would recommend them without any hesitation whatsoever.

The team at Bear Bottom were able to accomodate our last minute request to conduct an inspection. John was great to deal with and answered all our questions. The follow up from Andy was equally as good. Reports were sent promptly.

We were very impressed by the superbly swift turnaround and professional approach - we received comprehensive reports the same day we requested an inspection, which revealed some significant issues, including the need for waterproofing. The inspector, John, patiently discussed the key findings with me and shared his insights regarding potential repair costs. We now feel that we can head to the auction well-informed.

Thanks very much for the inspection. We loved the house and were quite excited to bid this weekend. That being said we had absolutely no idea about any of the structural issues. After carefully considering what we’d be prepared to bid for the house knowing some ballpark repair and maintenance costs we’ve decided not to bid this weekend. Sara and I are really glad we got a building and pest inspection with Bear Bottom Inspections.

Really impressed with the level of detail in the report, John found termite damage in the roof (they had come up the party wall from the neighbouring property) which we wouldn't have seen. We were allowed onsite during the inspection and great to see how the thermal camera picked up the termite trail? track?. We are still buying the house but now in negotiations! money well spent thanks!

Inspector was friendly and explained things well, the report was good. However, I was told on the phone that the building and pest inspection would be performed using thermal equipment but this was not the case. The pest inspection was only a 'visual' inspection.

Highly recommended. They were able to fit me in with a day or twos notice, the inspector met me onsite and explained everything I needed to know. Report was comprehensive and they were brilliant with providing advice on how to fix issues that were found.

The team were able to come out on short notice and provide a thorough, objective inspection. Verbal feedback was provided immediatley on completion and a full report sent the following day. Bear Bottom also responded to further questions and queries about the property post the inspection which was reassuring.

We arranged an inspection mid week and it was done by the Friday afternoon. We received a phone call with a detailed summary and a follow up email the following morning by 9am (Saturday).

Had a recent building inspection by bear bottom. They were really easy to deal with and booked in an inspection really quickly. I attended the inspection and they were really professional and thorough. They helped provide me with information to decide whether to buy the apartment or not. Thankfully, they found no major defects, only minor cosmetic work. I received a fully detailed report via email that afternoon. Would recommend bear bottom if you are looking for a building inspection.

I was really, really impressed by the service I received from Andy at Bear Bottom Inspections. They took phone calls on a Sunday morning after I'd seen a place on Saturday, and were able to schedule in an inspection on the Monday. The first house Andy looked at had many problems that we had not picked up on, and after reading the very thorough and detailed building and pest inspection reports we decided not to go ahead with that property as it would have cost us around $50,000 to fix it's numerous problems. The second inspection that Andy undertook for us was equally impressive in terms of the detail in the report and his prompt service and willingness to fit the inspection in at short notice. We felt really comfortable to bid on the second house at auction on the basis of the reports and ended up buying it. I'm really glad that we went with Bear Bottom Inspections and I highly recommend them to anyone looking at purchasing a home.

We had John from Bear Bottom to come out and do a pre-settlement inspection on our house and we’re very happy with his service.

I was so impressed with Bear Bottom from the first call - so knowledgable, switched on, friendly, responsive and importantly, great communicators. We were considering a house we knew needed a lot of work and had a fair idea of what was required so weren't sure whether we needed an inspection but as soon as I spoke to Andy on the phone I knew it was going to be a good investment. Having an educated estimate of exactly what work was required (we were right on some elements but not all) and how much time and budget it would take was critical for determining our maximum price and meant we felt really confident with our plans come auction day. John was brilliant, turned up 30 mins early and already had get started on assessing the exterior of the house. He then spent a further 1.5hrs thoroughly going through the property, explaining everything he saw and helpfully going through my many questions and ideas. I would highly recommend Bear Bottom and will certainly use them again, it certainly turned out to be money very well spent.

I would highly recommend Bear Bottom Inspections due to their high level of customer service. From the beginning I felt that my inspection was very important to them and being a first home buyer, it put my mind at ease that I felt I was in good hands.

The real estate agent showed John through the house and even asked after where we had found him as they had never witnessed such a thorough inspection.
