A friend suggested we use Bear Bottom Inspections - really happy we did! We were looking to invest in a property in Hawthorn. We were worried about the floors being bouncy only to find it was riddled with past termite damage and needed restumping. Needless to say we are looking for another property and will be gladly using Bear Bottom Inspections again! The guys were attentive, approachable and helped explain everything to me in layman's terms - something i've struggled to find in other building inspectors before. Would definitely recommend them!

Scott did two inspections for us in Rowville. First one before an auction and I met him at the property. Scott's exhaustive report brought out major structural and other defects in the house which, on the outside, looked absolutely stunning . We were able work out how much extra expenses would go into post purchase repairs and accordingly arrived at our price estimate. We did not bid. Second inspection was after making offer on a property on private sale. He did the inspection well before the building and pest inspection condition was set to expire. Once again he carried out a thorough job and we have gone ahead with the purchase.
