Wonderful nursery, so much to browse through. Have ordered a couple of Hoya's, got a few even while living in Townsville. Love this place

I've come here a few times with my mum. It's a nice atmosphere. I could sometimes see some deer far away.
The price isn't cheap. I wouldn't come here every week but I think it's okay for an occasional visit.
When my grandparents came, we brought them here and my grandma really liked this place. Lots of plants.
When our family were visiting relatives overseas, we bought some fragrant lotions from the shop within this place. It had a nice scent and they liked it.

5/11/2013 - Been here again recently, wont go back. We went for breakfast, 5 people plus a highchair. We made an order, they did not have it, changed our selection, nope don't have that either. Ordered overpriced toast could have had at home. Other meals had off brown avocado on it. Coffee's were just warm. Went to park next door, but was in full sunlight, so equipment to hot to play on. Not their fault but we went there because of park. Was a bad start to our beautiful day because of over priced bad food and coffee.

Approximate cost: $90

Hi Nelliecot, your experience vastly differs from the others on here and one is left wondering the reason behind such a discrepancy. Might there have been a change in management/chef? Or was the business in question just having a less than optimal day? Either way, toast (over priced or otherwise) does little to enthuse, nor does oxidized avocado. Thanks for sharing your experience. Reeces

I love this place, the staff are so fabulously friendly no matter whether you are ordering lunch, sharing a bowl of chips or simply having a cup of jo! The place is a huge kind of conservatory style feel to it. The cakes are tasty and the chips are crunchy and hot. They have pencils and paper for the kids which is great and you get to sit in amongst the nursery (which has the healthiest, albeit pricy plants) which is just oh so glorious. It can get a tad noisy here but it's all part of the dining experience. the toilets are quite creative with some folkart on them to jazz things up. There are highchairs too and although it's a bit squishy you can fit a pram in here...and thankfully usually the older patrons dote on your little one...so it's happiness all around. Come and visit it's great! Just don't park under the gum trees (if you can avoid it) they drop branches.....oh and don't put your finger in the cockateils avary sometimes he'll take a nip!! Such a good variety of succulents and espaliated camelias!!! also a nice little gift shop, this place has everything

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast here when we stayed across the road at the Crystal Brook Tourist Park. Staff were very friendly and attentive and both the coffee and the breakfast were totally yummy!

Great place for breakfast, lunch and coffee. Beautiful environment. A bit pricey. Good variety of cakes and meals. They can be very busy at times, so it is best to book

This is my favourite place to eat lunch or have morning tea. The setting is the best. Where else can you have a meal or a drink surrounded by lovely plants and flowers everywhere?

They have changed the menu a couple of times recently, and it's gotten a bit more expensive. However, the food is as good as always, and the service is top-notch.

Make sure you use the toilets before you go home. Surprise inside (and it's the good kind, not the other...)!

This is a beautiful family run nursery and the plants are great. Lovely setting and the tea house is getting bigger and better. A great place for morning tea or breakfast or lunch. You can sit indoors or outdoors and they have great food!
