Came here for dinner as a present from my daughter and the service was just amazing. An artisan dinner with lots of local products that really made this meal enjoyable. The wait staff couldnt' be more lovely. Enjoyed the pear cider, big bottles and poured onto crushed ice, delicious. I particularly enjoyed the artisan bread and olives on the antipasto dish

The meals are actually $20 for the lunch special - 2 courses (entree or main or dessert) and a drink which represents excellent value. I usually order an entree (spring rolls) and main and get hubby to order main and dessert so that we can share! Works out perfectly. They have nice padded seats. The place is huge! There is couches there if you wish to sit in front of the fire. Its' easy to get to just the other side of Hurstbridge...so no country driving. There is plenty of parking and a nursery adjacent to browse through and digest your meal. The desserts are usually just the cakes that are on display...your usually stuff but it fills a sugar craving. I like this place it's a good place to bring visitors to australia/victora as it shows the landscape at it's best.

Coffee here is strong and hot and you often get a piece of almond cake with it. You can get canoli here among all the other Italian cookies and icecream. Pies and quiches. and pizza slices. Sooo good value, you can't beat them in the area. We have often bought their cakes here for celebrations. The mud cakes have thick ganache icing and are very affordable and look impressive with strawberries and writing. They feed HEAPS of people. The sour cherry baked cheesecakes are fab! sooo good and beat the other commercial varieties handsdown. If you need something to take to a dinner party come here!! and lunch here is tasty too...they even make fresh sandwiches to order...what don't they do!! The cafe itself isn't huge but don't let that put you off you can still squeeze a pram in here. But this is not the place to bring a large group. Tables only fit about four ppl. The display of cakes though is amazing!! it will make your mouth water.

The coffee is okay here and i have just started regularly frequenting them. However going here is just so frustrating...because they are so slow. Which most of time is not a problem except when you are trying to grab a coffee in your coffee break. The staff are certainly friendly but the time factor is frustrating to say the least.

This place has great ambience, they have comfortable booths, which is always a draw card. Even if you are taking up a booth to only have a coffee they don't mind and don't give you the hurry on. If you have specific coffee likes and dislikes (even if the list is long) they don't mind catering to your every coffee whim.

We love this place. The atmosphere is great, it's quite a large place with indoor and outdoor seating and lots of little nooks to seat yourself in - especially if you want a little privacy. Always clean toilets, a lovely water feature to look out. Food is tasty, we had the big breakfast on Saturday and it was delicious and coffee was nice and strong. We just love the little chocolate chip cookies you get with the coffees it's just what you need.

This is a delightful little bakery with homemade fudge on offer in all different flavours, like lemon myrtle! The place was quiet when we were there so we were a little annoyed when the service was so slow, but the cake was delicious and the coffee hot so we would come again! The fudge was a bonus, something nice to bring home for family!

This is a great little find. Only open from Wed- Sundays. It's a cosy little place with an open wood fire, couches and moody lighting. They make homemade brownies and use mismatched crockery, all very alternative and Eltham. The metal art in the garden as you enter is inspiring. There are some 'tea' things to buy as gifts. This place is still virtually unknown (i think) so it's a great spot. Well priced food and coffee, approx $3 or $4 for a slice or biscuit.

This place is affordable, esp when thai can be expensive. However the beef always seems a bit tough which is a shame. The chicken is always delicious. Everything is tasty...all the curries massaman, panang and the restaurant itself whilst not as settled in (it's only new) as other thair restaurants, they have tried to make it moody. The only thing i dont like about these places is there is nowhere to wait when picking up an order

This place is great if only because the pizza taste okay but ONLINE ORDER AND PAY! Sooooo good! So you just have to rock up 15mins later and pick it up. They are only gas cooked which is a shame but they are cheap so that's good. If you can't be bothered cooking but don't want to break the bank...head to Sinners!
