Scammers for sure

Bought a supposed Jane iredale product that was absolutely awful and clearly faulty, fake or out of date. Woman was unhelpful, abrupt and practically hung up when I called. Not an authorised stockist of the product so buyer beware.

Approximate cost: $200

Terrible customer service, dishonest, extremely overpriced, likely using cheap knock-off products and selling them as real. Owner of the salon has posted positive reviews of her own salon everywhere to try and improve the ranking, but in reality, the very low ratings are fair and true. Sadly a dishonest business lady who has no hesitation to lie rather than provide a professional service. Thank goodness I only wasted $200, but I never received the product I ordered online from her, which was nearly 40% more expensive than RRP. I see that many others here, and on other review sites have all had similar experiences.

Approximate cost: $200

Location is perfect in the city but wonder why they moved a lot over these past years. Broadway then Martin place then now in George street. Been there 10 times for a facial package , seen three therapist but they do not have consistency about my skin problems which make me end up buying lots lots of useless product and my face is not getting better. The products are quite expensive.

Approximate cost: $2000

Hi Katharina, thanks for the heads-up! Pleased to see a review written by a member with a decent TrustFactor. Regards, Reeces

I see that its not hard to earn a decent trust factor - see 'GraceFace' review below, she is the owner of the salon in question who has a predisposition towards lying. She has a high trust factor, simply because she posted nine positive reviews including one about her own salon. Click on her profile and you will see that all nine reviews are written on the same day, one after the other, with the last being the review of her own salon!! If only she put as much effort into there customer service and quality as she did into lying she would probably have a much better business!

The first time I went to this place I was so impressed, the service was fantastic. The next time it was average, the little things had stopped. It was a little noisy also and needs warmer. But I would go again as I was pretty happy with the outcome.

Thought they were over priced on skin care and foundation products (there were actually products you can get fro official websites / internet for 50% cheaper). Got a lot of inconsistent feedback and comments from each of the consultants, didn't really feel i was looked after, also didn't get the results i was after. bit of a shame since i spent a few thousand on treatment

Approximate cost: $3000K +

i wish i read your comment before i went there. I have the same bad experience. We need to spread out the words so there wont be victims like us. spend thousands for nothing. when i complaint to the therapist about the product i bought didnt suit me , instead they blame it to the manufacture and asked me to complaint to them ( Jan Marini) . The therapist is the stupid one who prescribe me the wrong product. What a shame.

Hi Anonymous Member, despite your questionable TrustFactor, this place sounds like a complete sham and given the reviews (on WOMO and other such sites), it appears to be a place worth avoiding. Thanks for the heads-up! Reeces

See my comments and review above, yes this place is a sham, and the owner is dishonest. Thankfully I only wasted $200 from her online store, for a product with RRP of $139, which I never received.

i have been to plenty of the city centre salons and this one is pretty good. A Nice clean environment, with friendly staff and a very central and handy location fro thse working in the city. I went in at lunch time and did not feel rushed or pressured at all (as I have done in some other salons where lunch time turnover is fast is furious!) .Reasonable city centre prices.

Hi Emmy, needed to post all nine reviews on the same day, to try and lift your failing public reviews of your own beauty salon?? Perhaps you should spend more time providing a better customer service and less time lying instead. Or if you hate the beautician game and people that much, give up on it, because your level of dishonesty is astounding!!!

Beauty Grace in the Met Centre on George Street. Clean and big salon that's in the middle of the city which is convenient for lunchtime appointments. They are also open til 7 most nights which is great for an after work appointment too. Waxing service is good - quick and the therapists are nice - and a decent price.
