I have mixed feelings about this restaurant: the first time we went there it was a week day, we had great service, awesome food and left really pleased, with the intention to return.
And so we did come back... unfortunately on a Friday night and we had such an awful time: 1hr wait and rude staff is the only thing that stuck on our mind, that is why despite the fact that I believe your calamari were divine, I will NOT return or recommend.

This is a great little italian joint in newstead. They are pretty famous for their pizzas and the one I had certainly didn't let me down. I have heard great reviews of their duck ragu of which I am normally a fan however although it was decent I didn't think it was an amazing as I had heard it was. They also regularly have some great specials and it would probably be in my top 5 italian restaurants in Brisbane.

Best Italian in Teneriffe I say. They are pricey but you get what you pay for. I love their mushroom and leek risotto. The service is excellent and their takeaway pizzas are delicious too.

This place is always a favorite of mine. U can't go wrong with any of the pizzas and the risottos are a favorite of my husbands. The staff are amazing and very attentive. No bookings though which can be tough with a large group but they have a area to sit and have a glass of wine while u wait for a table.

Approximate cost: $20

I really enjoyed having lunch here the other day with a friend. I tried the sweet corn risotto with prosciutto and it was amazing. I would definitely go back. However, beware that you can't make bookings. It's walk in.

Approximate cost: $22

We have visited Beccofino many times and have had a wonderful experience each and every time. The beautiful, fresh Italian menu changes with the season and while we have a few favourite dishes that we often order, it's always worth listening to the specials. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable about the menu. The service is quick and unobtrusive. It's always busy and you can't book, however you can order a bottle of wine and a few appetisers while waiting for a table. Fantastic for a relaxed night with friends,a romantic dinner for two or a business dinner.
