We found all the staff to be very friendly and accommodating with our requests. The room was spacious enough for us 3 and the hotel is directly across from the Muddy's playground (great if you have kids with you).
It is worth paying in advance for your breakfast as you have the choice from the whole menu for a small extra fee.

We only visited the bar: nice and relatively quiet on a Friday night, which was what we were after! Nice pool and view of the Queen Street Mall.

I mainly go to swimming pool with my 4yo daughter and after visiting this one, I was left disappointed by the size and cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the little pool.
The venue itself has great potential, having sheltered areas and availability of chairs and sun umbrellas.
However, we didn't enjoy ourselves as much as we did elsewhere.
I cannot comment on the olympic pool, as I didn't use it.
Also, parking availability is limited (on-street).

I love Grill'd burgers and this joint is really good, with the staff happy to help and quite a fast service. I love their chips too, and the fact that they are conveniently located within the Toowong Village.
However, I was let down by the management that during the recent Polished Man campaign decided not to honour my voucher on the last day of the offer. Other than that I would have no hesitation returning.
Approximate cost: $15
A must go for all seafood lovers in Brisbane. Their oysters are divine, and the assortment of hot dishes, not just your average fish-n-chips, will make you want to return just to try them all.
One of the ones I mostly enjoyed was the linguine with clams: beautifully al dente, rich garlic & wine sauce and generous portion!
Not to miss the shop downstairs if you're keen on cooking some for yourself at home.
Good availability of parking and super friendly staff.
Approximate cost: $20
Fantastic little hidden gem offering superb Chinese food at superbly good prices.
Portions are generous and the staff is ever so kind.
Good availability of onsite parking.

I visited on a last-minute occasion as I had a bad colour job to fix. The person who came to see me at the counter said they could fix it with just a $50 full-head colour so I agreed to it.
After a pretty extenuating wait, they tried to charge me $75 because of some "toner" they put on me 1) without asking and 2) without explaining that it would incur in an additional cost.
I paid just $50 and left with the intention of not returning, because I can't stand lack of clarity and poor customer service (they took me in without appointment, yes, but made me wait 45' before even offering a shampoo... the whole visit went for almost 2hrs!).
Approximate cost: $50
This is a fantastic centre that offers a variety of classes other than ballet, e.g. yoga, pilates, zumba, etc.
The twinkle toes classes (age 2-4) are okay but often get crowded/messy with kids not really following and parents who carelessly bring along baby siblings and/or distract the lesson with their chitchat.
Good value for money if you have a concession card.
Onsite parking is a bonus!
We visited this business through some online Coupon, so entry came really cheap at about $5 p.p.
I would strongly recommend the business invested in some air-conditioning because we were there in October and sweated a lot just by even sitting around. I can only imagine what it would be these summer days.
But the kids had a really good time and we would return (in winter!)
A good alternative to the local average café, serving not-too-bad pizzas, amongst other things, for a not-too-bad price.
Watch out for the opening hours though, as more than once I got there and it was closed.
