This is a lovely little park, it's been completely revamped since we stayed here many years ago. Recently had a one night weekend stay at one of their lovely cedar cabins - well equipped with a host of kitchen appliances and great bedroom facilities - two bedrooms and linen is supplied to the main one. Second bedroom has bunks so we just threw in a sleeping bag and were all set. Also has ensuite and own verandah.

It's not a big place so great for that relaxing get away and very quiet. But still close to the town of Port Fairy so you can get to shops and food at any time - but you must have a car.

We didn't use the jumping pillow or the pool or games room but it's all there if you need it and more. Lovely garden surrounds with trees and shrubs which attract wildlife. Pets are welcomed with prior notice. Holiday times they organise special activities for the children.

Pleasant owners seem very keen to maintain and promote their park as the best it can be. Looking forward to come back here in the Christmas break.

Approximate cost: $110

Where do I start?. The experience started to go south when we 'checked in', the only attendant was in the site laundry washing sheets, took us about 10 minutes to find her. Checked in and told where the 'drive-thru park was we drove in and found the roadways a tad narrow with trees. shrubs and hedges intruding into the roadway, Our 17 foot van scraped it's sides just following the bitumen. Then things deteriorated. Our car moved OK into the drivethru, but when the van's wheels got off the bitumen and onto the turnaround area they sunk. Bogged and the attendant could only say 'I don't know what to do'. After 'deditching' car & van we found that the site wasn't wide enough to extend the van's awning so we got to walk throudh mud and the deep dark (no park lights on until after 10 pm....guess they're set for 'summer time'. The 'hot' water in the showers must have been set for 'summer' as well because the showers could only be got to tepid. Given our clothing and towels were wet we decided to dry them in the laundry..Couldn't because that attendant we eventually found doing the washing was 'still doing the drying' until she locked up the laundry some time before 9 pm

Approximate cost: $25
