We had lousy TV reception, George installed a new on roof antenna, new antenna point and tuned in our new HD TV I believe that George can solve ANY communication network problem that you might ever have. We experienced a slight hitch with a mains power supply...fixed no problem. He even taught us (technologically challenged geriatrics) how to simply operate our now integrated home theatre system.

This review is for Peter Rodda Denture Clinic, Parkside SA

My partner lost a tooth from her upper denture at about 9pm on the Friday night. We were committed to attend a public engagement the next evening. Major drama. It took me over an hour from 9 am on the Saturday morning to find a dental technician who would repair her denture. (There was no way she was going anywhere with a tooth missing) Peter (incidentally in his garden in Crafers when I rang) undertook to meet us at his rooms at Glen Osmond at 11 am. He was on time and completed the repair within 20 minutes. Great job and a very pleasant manner.

Approximate cost: $65.

The premises are reasonably clean but are not conducive to a enjoyable food experience. The untidy layout together with it's makedo decor really put me off despite my associates assurances. Unfortunately the quality of their product reflected the shop decor..

We break our trips to and from Moonta Bay at Pope's. The cafe is reasonably clean and the staff are pleasant. The fare is not spectacular but the serves are somewhat larger than you would normally expect. I have had the full breakfast on occasion and there is always enough bacon left over to feed my dog as well. The coffee is hot and flavoursome.

This review is for Homestead Cafe Bakery, Walkley Heights SA

Just up the road from home the bakery was a convenient stop to pick up 'lunch' when we were going to Mum's. Under the original proprietors there was an interesting and very fresh selection of baked goods. Over time economic reality adversely affected both the quality and range of products available and it seemed that most were no longer baked on site. Recently the quality and range has significantly improved and we are again frequenting the bakery just because it's a nice place for morning or afternoon tea.

Our remote controlled panel lift door was malfunctioning. the technician who attended was competent and completed the necessary repairs quickly and effectively. Mind you you get to pay for the experience if the job exceeds the anticipated 30 minutes.

I have relied on Dr Tram for his general oversight of my health and various chronic conditions for quite a few years now. I enjoy his medical competence and especially his ability to communicate empathically with me and his preparedness to refer me to accessible and appropriate specialists when necessary.

This review is for Montague Farm Hair Salon, Pooraka SA

verified email - 25 Jun 2009

My partner could not 'get in' to her regular hairdresser because she was holidaying overseas. Consequently after chatting to family and friends she decided to give this salon a go. My partner is not easy to please when it comes to hairdressers because she has to be very particular about the shaping of her hair... she experiences significant difficulties in lifting her hands above her shoulders. It's four weeks since she had her hair cut at this salon and she's still happy with the service that they provided. Another cut has been booked for next week

This review is for 42nd Street Cafe, Elizabeth SA

The premises are always spotless, the staff attentive and pleasant. Persentation and quality of their extensive menu is always first class. I frequently usurp their facilities either before or after lunch waiting while my partner attends to her interests at other locations within the Centre. It's got to the stage where I'm personally welcomed and usually shown to the same table. I'd definitely recomment the lunch experience even if there is sometimes a short wait for a table during the lunch time rush. The place must be good because it's very popular.

This review is for Zia Teresa's Eat In & Takeaway Food, Gawler SA

verified email - 25 Jun 2009

We get up to Gawler several times a month and usually have 'time to kill' while we are there. Teresa's place is convenient and clean. There is a simple but reasonably diverse menu and the serving staff are always pleasant. They are quite happy to just serve multiple coffee's while I sit there reading
