It had been 13 yrs since my eldest married here on this exquisite piece of green pastures so close to our city. Went back for mothers day pushing a wheel chair around with my dear mum. The site has been improved for tourism immeasurably. Sites for different old practises like pottery and loom spinning. The one thing that remains is the joy of the outdoors, green grass sunshine and the old grainary. You can book in groups with many things to observe as is available and you can set your wedding up for this place. There is an in house catering crew now. We did it all ourselves those years ago. The place lends itself to a very relaxed day so that you can roam at will within the boundaries. I appreciate being out of 4 walls and paint. I love the rustic open nature that this offers for whatever you are interested in. Their website is valuable but my joy will be to come back in 10 yrs and see the green meadows, the horses and kids running around and old world charm in the buildings of our forefathers
