a great menu offering a wide choice of dining options make this restaurant a local favourite, and the 3 times i have dined here i have always gone away well satisfied.
make sure you book at a weekend as the tables fill up quick.

At $45, the half lobster mornay with chips & salad is impressive, but the service is severely lacking. We waited 20 minutes for a menu after being seated, & when our order was messed up, & then forgotten, the owner came out & publically gave our waiteress a dressing down infront of us & all of his patrons. The atmosphere was toxic, & we all felt uncomfortable eating there, despite the sunny day & views over the beach. We left Bella Costa with a very sour taste in our mouths.

We used to enjoy this restaurant . It has changed hands a few times. we try it every now and again. The last time we went, even though we only booked 1 hour before we went we were not told they had 2 large groups in and they were short a chef. The food was over cooked and took 1 1/2 hours to come.The place was so noisy we could harfdly talk.
