Had a group booking for 18, the food was ordinary. The snitzel soggy, fish over cooked, not nice at all.
the kids area needs revamping to cater for all ages ( totally boring).
The only good thing the toilets were clean.
Very disappointing considering its all brand new...

Shame I can’t give them less than 1 star really. Got food that was stone cold and when I took it back I was told that I could either have it reheated in the microwave or get a refund as the kitchen was closed. It was 7pm. I get that if the kitchen closes at 7 you can’t order but if I have ordered and it needs to be fixed because it’s not up to scratch then I should be provided with the option to have my food recooked. So unacceptable.

Coffee beans are pre-ground and could be sitting there for hours. NOT FRESHLY GROUND COFFEE and is only worth $1 comparable to instant coffee from a can. We go there every week. Kept quiet about the weak tastless coffees until I realised when I seen the coffee grinder full of ground beans. No customers in the cafe at the time. Why grind so much and let it go stale??? Never going back again. Time to find a new place for our weekly dinner.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and price of Burger Bros at the Boat Shed. Tasty food and a great selection of beers, our party of 8 were all happy with what we ordered. The place was clean and well presented too. We will definitely be back!

i had the worst meal i've ever had at the 16's today...we went there for my Dads 78th birthday and i ordered the lamb loin chops special with mashed potato.The lamb chops were so gristly you were lucky to get 1 bite out the 2 were were served.The only other thing i had with this meal was potato bake and the bloke dishing out food was lucky to put just over a spoonful on my plate and my parents plate...rang them up yeah they didn't care,next time let us know if it happens again and we'll look into it..thanks for spoiling my 78 year old Fathers Birthday..we might not mean much to you but my elderly Father means a lot to me..so sad you you don't care as long as you got your money....there are certainly lots better places to go for a celebration which we will all do next time

Such a great outlook over the beautiful lake macquarie to enjoy a function, lunch concert or fundraiser etc. They have multiple rooms for use to choose from and have a great range of music artists have concerts. Food is fantastic bit pricy but delicious lots of differ restaurants to choose from

Not impressed by either the food or wait staff at a recent event I attended. Lack of staff knowledge about allergies - which I had made organisers aware of for my own allergies- was very concerning. Wait staff were not friendly and could not even tell you what the meals were that they were serving. A great night with friends but very poor food and service.

I dined at the restaurant here recently for lunch on a weekend for a family get together. I ordered some battered fish and chips and a cappuccino. They have a menu of made to order items and they also have bistro meals available, but we all ordered from the made to order menu. My food was quite well cooked, crispy with crunchy chips and it was lovely and warm and filling which was great for a cool day. Even though there was a few of us in the group we didn't have to wait too long for the food to be ready so that was good. We ate inside but afterwards we had drinks outside on the balcony area and the atmosphere was great out there, it was really picturesque overlooking the water and they had some nice couches and cushions out on the balcony area. My daughter was entertained by looking at the seagulls and other birds which were coming up onto the railings. The food was of good quality I thought, but the prices for a few of the menu items are a little expensive compared to other clubs, although the fish and chips was of about average price. Overall it was good food and a nice relaxed place to spend a few hours on a weekend so I would recommend dining here.

This is a great place to have something to eat while enjoying a fantastic view of the lake.You can chose from a variety of different things from the bistro or from the cafe.You can sit inside or outside on a great day.They usually have some great bands that play here & ticket prices are usually very reasonable & they also run a courtesy bus.They also hire the function room for weddings or special events.Its definitely a place to visit.

Great views over Lake Macquarie from almost every seat. Yummy meals with a great variety. Choose made to order, or ready in the bain marie meals in the bistro. Great cakes and hot chocolates in the cafe. Staff in the bistro could be a bit friendlier though.
