Had a FANTASTIC time here. Kids loved the vertical slide.
The planetarium was awesome.
Plenty to keep everyone engaged, even the littlest in the family, in the designated 'Kaleidoscope' area.

Kids love visiting discovery centre every time. Recently went to see the murder mystery section where the kids put together clues to solve a murder. The kids love the space centre. My youngest loves the todler section and the walking piano. My eldest loves the verticle slide. It is great to see them constantly updating their exhibits. This means we can keep going back and see something new.

great place to take the kids for some entertainment and learning without them knowing they are learning! my little sister loved coming here and definitely got our monies worth even though it is a bit expensive but they have great science projects and have different things all the time.

there are so many things to say about the Discovery Center! Basically there are lots of different displays and interactive exhibits for kids which kids enjoy they learn quite a bit and have a lot of fun in visiting and it give something else for parents to take their kids too there is free parking and right next door to the market place, But the only grumble i have is the price especially for adults who have already been there and is not really interested in it. It is way over priced for what you get especially as said your a Adult.

Approximate cost: $950 for child $12.50 Adult

Where to start . . . there are so many great things to say about the Discovery Centre! Basically there are lots of different displays and interactive exhibits set up in the centre and you can wander around checking them all out at your own leisure. They have a planetarium where the lights are turned down and you get to view the amazing display of stars, planets and constellations. There are funny mirrors that distort your image and create illusions - like having your head on a platter! The vertical slide was a highlight for my younger cousins as you basically slide straight down a slide from several metres - it's hard to describe but the kids loved it! There is a chair where you can try to pull your own weight and a giant organ piano that you play by stepping on various keys. They have a little cafe for teas/coffees and a gift shop. Recommended for anyone with kids of all ages - there are exhibits for young kids, school age kids, teenagers and adults! The staff are friendly and helpful and prices are great considering the fun you will have!

Approximate cost: $35

great place i agree but there is no cafe there. however, the shopping centre is right outside the door and you can bring coffee back, although they don't encourge kids to eat or drink on the exhibition area, which is fair enough.
