A nice little cafe, although the seating was a little bit cramped inside so I chose to get takeaway. They were able to do pancakes and eggs Benedict takeaway. The prices were ok but the food wasn't that fantastic - it was good but I probably wouldn't return. The staff that took and prepared my order were very friendly and helpful. The cafe also seems to be a deli as they had fresh cheeses and salami types of meats for sale.

This cafe was recommended to me by my accommodation venue for a morning coffee. It is located in a good central area in Williamstown.

The menu is interesting - there were lots of different food choices than your usual cafe menu items. The coffee was good and hot.

There are indoor and outdoor seating areas. The cafe has a laid back/relaxed atmosphere.

The service was friendly and relatively quick considering how busy it was on a Sunday morning.

Still serving up delicious pies, pastries and sweet treats with friendly staff. Even though they are fairly busy bakery they get through serving their customers quite efficiently so you don't have to wait long. They seem to be coming up with great new pie flavours - the Lamb Rosemary meat pie tasted great.
They had a 4 for $10 deal on meat pies when I went.

We usually get pizza in Ocean Grove from a different pizza place but decided to try out this one and we were so glad that we did!
We ordered large pizzas and some pastas. The pizzas had nicely cooked pizza bases with a thick layer of delicious toppings. The pastas were yummy too - the lasagne was my favourite. They had a deal with two pastas and a garlic bread for $20.
The staff member that took our phone order was very polite and friendly and so were the staff inside the shop when we picked up our order. It only took 20 minutes from placing the order to when it was ready to pick up.

Crooked Kitchen is a lovely little cafe - very cosy indeed - that makes a range of meals for eat in or takeaway with a predominately gluten free/vegetarian/vegan menu. They are all homemade things like vegetarian lasagna, curries and soups, frittatas, etc. All meals are $11 and are served with a salad. They also have a selection of sweet treats. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. The coffee is good, nothing exceptional but still good. Overall this place offers great value for yummy healthy foods.

While they have three different locations throughout Bendigo, this review is for the walk up window cafe at the top of View Street.
Service was friendly and staff were working quickly although it is a bit slow just because they are so busy. Don’t let this deter you . . . it is worth the wait. Delicious hot mochas taste divine! I believe that they use real chocolate rather than flavoured syrup.

Yummy crisp chips - although they are small portions for what you pay. The fish is nicely cooked and tastes good, and the hamburgers are made on fresh buns. In some fish and chip shops grilled fish can be dry but this fish was delicious! The staff were all very friendly and happily chatted away. Just a note, it is cash payments only - there are no eftpos facilities.

The Spring Gully General Store Cafe is actually located in the old original General Store building.

When I went there the cafe the fairy busy with people filling up the seating areas out the front, inside the cafe, and in the courtyard area out the back. In the courtyard area they have garden planters where they grow their own herbs and some vegies.

I was seated quite quickly and my order taken soon afterwards. The waiter that served me was polite but didn't really smile or interact much other than taking our orders. The meals were served within an expected time frame however it took a very long time for our hot drinks to be brought out.

The food is a little bit pricey, the meal portions are good - not over sized but not too small either. The menu has lots of healthy, organic, gluten free and vegetarian menu options. There are also lots of freshly baked cakes/muffins/slices available.

I believe that the cafe is owned by the same person who owns the Corner Store Cafe.

Just an update on my previous review - you can now order online through the Tuckerfox website and they offer home delivery.

It is a very interesing menu. You choose what type of patty you want - beef, pork, chicken, vegetable, and then you can choose what type of bun you want - brioche style bun, pita or gluten free. Then you choose what additional fillings you want from the menu selections. I ordered the Polish Murger which came with Saurekraut and some other yummy fillings. The burger was served with chips which were well cooked and tasted good. I also ordered a side of onion rings which were delicious! They have lots of milkshake/thickshakes and I had one for dessert. Highly recommended!

The staff members were polite and patient when the kids were ordering! The meals were brought out relatively quickly and the food was very hot. Everyone's burgers were huge.

They also do takeaway orders, could be handy to pick up something and take it across to Rosalind Park to enjoy.
