My favourite jeweler, Kelvin looked after my precious watches like they were his own. Today I was shocked to find a notice on the window tells me that the business has closed down.

Re-made my enegagement ring (that was poorly made to begin with) and I couldn't be happier with the result.
Have repaired so many pieces of my jewellery and custom made a piece for my husband from my poorly sketched design. Amazing craftsmanship.

I have been a customer at BDJ since they first opened in 1984. Over the years, BDJ has maintained an exceptionally high standard of customer service and quality craftsmanship. Most of the staff are jewellers that actually work in the trade (not just sales staff), so they really know their stuff. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

BDJ were SO helpful when my fiance and I came to them with a design for our engagement ring. They worked with us to make the ring we envisaged but helped tweak things to bring it within our price range. We are so grateful and have a beautiful ring to show for it!

This is my favourite jewellery shop in Melbourne. I have moved to Brisbane and can't find a good Jewellery shop yet that matches BDJ. I have had many things repaired or made at the shop over the last 21 years. Always great service and friendly staff.

This is a unique business due to the both the beautiful product range and the exceptional customer service. I have had a very special piece of jewellery repaired here, a gift made to order and have purchased other items. All members of staff go out of their way to assist you and due to their incredible levels of knowledge you know you are in good hands. With an experienced jeweller and watch maker on site, the first class service and very reasonable prices I would not go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

It was close to Christmas and I didn't want to fight the crowds at the shopping centres when all I wanted was my watch battery replaced. For years I'd had them changed at the shoe places, you know the ones I mean. This small jewellers was close to where I lived so I popped in was warmly greeted and after inspection of my watch was told it must have been a bit of dust or something and I didn't even need a new battery. No charge. Now I know (and you know) if I'd taken it to the "shoe place" they would've just changed it and charged me. Have since returned to have my fathers old watch restored. Highly recommend.

I stumbled on BDJ searching to get an old watch battery replaced near my work. I came away delighted by the customer service , quality of the on-the- spot repair (real jewelers onsite) and friendly , personal service. It made me realize I have been to too many shopping centres and have forgotten what a REAL customer service experience feels like. I will go back anytime I think Jewelery , and will tell anyone I know.
Small things mean alot. Long live local retail and service.

I have had jewelery repaired, a ring remodeled and purchased new items. The staff are very helpful with everything I need. They will bring items in for me to look at, they will search the city for something to match my desires. The jeweler who remodeled my ring turned it into exactly how I wanted it, it is perfect! The service is very professional and my repairs have always been ready on time. Having jewelers work on site is a bonus. Great service!

I was given an old piece of jewellery by an aunt. I took it into this jewellers to have a chat about how I could extend the piece. Although this required a great deal of work, these people couldn't do enough to help out with suggestions and a variety of options. Since that time, I've purchased a number of items through this jewellers who offer a broad range of options including estate jewellery. Well worth a visit. The service is second to none as a number of "real jewellers" work from the location.
