Hyundai parts are hideously expensive. I paid $5,000 to get my steering fixed -on a $13K Accent!
The service dudes convinced my husband that ripping out and replacing the entire steering unit was the only way, as looking for the defective components would be too many labour hours and 'probably' cost just as much. Hmmmm...
I asked to see the invoice they received from the supplier, to make sure they weren't price-gouging. Still waiting...
I wish, I wish, I'd never bought a Hyundai and in a way I hope this one just dies soon.
