Unfortunately had to visit the workshop twice with my brand new car. On both occasions got minor scratches and paint work needed some touch up. The repairers were very helpful in explaining what they were going to do and timeframe. Both times the paint job came up perfectly well and costs were rather minimal. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit for a quote on your repairs as you wouldn’t be disappointed.

So I have read a couple of reviews straight up as I was coming on here to write my review. Just so everyone knows this Company was taken over by the new owners not so long ago so please read the new reviews such as mine who have been there recently and not way back in 2018.

My car was taken to Berwick Motor Body Repairs from RACV my insurer after I had a minor accident and my first in over 40 years. I found Berwick Motor Body Repairs to be helpful over and above. These days it is so hard to find anyone who does a job with any enthusiasm but this Company is happy to have your car for the repairs and happy to speak to you and take the time out of their day to do so. This is how it should be. Give them a go as they are new owners and I did not know that until I was picking my car up and was so happy to speak to the staff who were so helpful. Thanks guys for a wonderful service.

I would not recommend this business to anybody. My van was in to replace smashed nudge bar & front plastic bumper no panel beating needed. Firstly they took the van to Bridgestone for a front wheel alignment because steering wheel spoke position was out, well its still out what's with people who can't do there job properly. Secondary was they fitted a new nudge bar, when I inspect it was badly scratched in 4 places it looked like someone had got sandpaper or a screwdriver & tried to remove protective plastic coating. Was informed that's how they come out of the box and he could order 5 more and they all could be damaged so I asked him why was it fitted his response was the person who fitted the bar wasn't very detailed. Two things he knew that it was damaged from toyota or they damaged it, it doesn't matter the key to this is they were prepared to fit a damaged nudge bar to my vehicle hoping I wouldn't see it. Dishonest activity, then they said they were going to polish the scratches out, they rang me later and they said they are ordering another new one to fit. When I dropped vehicle off again he took me into workshop and unwrapped the new nudge bar and guess what no damage.

I would not recommend Berwick Motor Body Repairs, Officer, to anyone.

I had some car painting and preparation done by them in 2011 to paint over some very minor rust that had been treated and approved by them. Six years later I was horrified to see some rust reappear. When I went to the company to show them, they said that the business had changed hands and they wouldn't honour responsibility from the previous owner. They also claimed that they couldn't help regarding the apparent rust but would repaint the panels if I had the rust treated. However, subsequently they went back on this offer and decided that they wouldn't stand by their offer. Totally unprofessional.

Since they wouldn't help, I removed the rear side windows and the moulding which was covering the area and had a car restoring company inspect the problem. It turned out that the painting had not been prepared correctly and the paint itself was deteriorating under the rubber window moulding. There was further signs of lack of proper preparation on the surrounding body work where paint had not adhered to the original paint layer and was flaking off.

When I contacted the company after that I was told that they didn't want to get involved and that I should find someone else to totally repair it and then was virtually thrown off the phone.

I would definitely not recommend this company.

Always great service here, we have taken several cars here now and we are always happy with the service. The owner Cam is very knowledgable.

I ha my smashed up car worked on here and was impressed with the end result. They replaced doors and panels and the work is immaculate. Great staff too and was finished when they said it would be. Also can take it direct to them and they have the insurance assessor out to them.
