I recently purchased Best Buds goods and services for my wedding in January 2017 with great disappointment on the outcome of the end products and customer service provided.

All the buttonholes, bridal bouquet and corsages were already starting to wilt the day prior upon arrival and therefore we were forced to replace the all the buttonholes and corsages by midday of the wedding day, due to the fact they were severely wilted and falling apart, before the wedding had even be begun (attached photos).

In leading up to the wedding, I had provided series of photos of the floral arrangement I wished my floral will resemble on the day. With an understanding that variation may exist, the product provided on the day did not resemble in any way what was requested and in return the staff indicated ‘We did not receive instruction from you to match the photo during the final confirmation’ which is preposterous as the photos were on the invoice itself for their staff to reference and it was also verbally confirmed during the phone conversation leading up to the wedding.
Best Buds failed to resemble any of the floral arrangement e.g. the description on the invoice along with the photos requested for the bridal table to have green and white floral arrangement with “ not a lot of vine coming down” in which on the day we received a colourful arrangement with No Vines coming down. The centrepieces and the bridal table floral did not go with the colour theme as per requested on the day.

Best bud team was also late to pick up the ceremony items and when they arrived half an hour late from the bump out time they did not bother to explain or apologise for such breach of contract and taking up the time of our valuable guests.

The staffs were rude and were of an accusing demeanour, which caused me and my partner immense stress and dissatisfaction on the day.

I highly DO NOT recommend Best Bud as the choice of florist for any occasion [redacted generalisation]

The first time I noticed the fresh flower arrangements done by Best Buds was when I was working at a 5* star hotel in Sydney CBD. They delivered the flowers weekly and they were always modern, fresh and exquisite arrangements. Due to the cost the hotel stopped using Best Buds but that did not stop me from using them for my own wedding!!

I contacted Anna (the owner) who was very friendly and accommodating. I mentioned I worked for the hotel and she was very generous and kind enough to give me small discount. It cost about $1000 for my wedding day flowers, the bride bouquet was around $300-$400, with 3 bridesmaids bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres and about 10 table centre pieces. I had an outdoor wedding which did not require additional flowers.

When I had the meeting with Anna - we used the other shop mentioned in Bas69's review. It is a smaller shop but it was nicely decorated with wedding accessories etc. Anna helped me through to get my favourite colours and flowers. Everything turned out as I have expected and they were beautiful. I loved all the flowers for my wedding day, Anna and her team had done a great job!

Highly recommend Best Buds and only if this florist is near my work or home!!!

I was the first customer in this store over 5 years ago when it opened downstairs in the building I worked in. I went down to get a dozen long stem red roses and they were the best flowers I had ever gotten, I was served by the owner Anna, and over the years she has really proven to be a genius of the art of flower arrangements. For years she has done every thing for me, from our corporate flowers, a wedding and a few funerals, the arrangements always getting lots of compliments and requests of where did I get them.
She has a great selection of fresh flowers as shes up at the crack of dawn and at the markets, and delivers vases of flowers, arrangements and bunches around the CBD and eastern suburbs, and interflora is utilised every where else, like overseas gifts to friends and relatives.
I adore Best Buds and the fresh arrangement of flowers that I pick up for home each Friday just makes our weekend more pleasant, the flowers are always so fresh and lovely.
If your in Sydney and you really want some of the best flowers then Best Buds is the place to order from. They have a second shop next door, that only takes care of the wedding arrangements and you can go and see a wedding planner and they will, flower wise make it the happiest day of your life.
