I asked Better view for a quote to repair my LG TV. I was told the call out fee was $99 and 1/2 hourly charges of $55. No problem I agreed. The technician came and did not have a clue as to what was wrong even though I clearly told him what the specific problem was. He phoned somebody and the other person did not have any idea as they have repaired a similar model only once. I asked what was the maximum possible cost. The technician had no idea. He did not have the tools to open and check the TV. The only reason he came was to take the TV away and charge whatever they liked. I paid the call out fee of $99, and terminated any further dealings.

Don't use them, they are totally incompetent!

i just needed to have my TV tuned in and my DVD video combo set up excellent price they even showed me how to use it properly friendly staff. would call again

i have rang Betterview to tune in my new tv. a well presented technician came in the same day & install my tv & showed me how to operate it properly. i will recommend them every day

TV went on the blink so yesterday so consulted the local Pink Pages. Chose at random and rang a company called Clearview, who said someone would ring back. Waited for some time, so rang Betterview instead. Paul from Betterview came out within two hours, looked into our TV, gave expert advice and friendly service, and even offered us a discount (without our even asking) if we had a Senior or Pensioner card , which we did. Some time after he left, guess who rang! Yes, Clearview! Well, told them sorry, the job was done, and thanked them for calling back (certainly took some time, didn't they?) You bet we'll stick to Betterview from now on, and will definitely recommend them to all our friends! I believe they also do microwave ovens and sound systems.
