16.03.2018 @ 10.45 I ordered Fish & chips and paid $ 9.50. At 10.55 the girl behind the counter gave me a package, saying: "Fish and chips?" At 11.05 at the Blackheath train station – while waiting for the 11.30 train, I opened the package and found chips but no fish. I phoned the shop and requested that the fish be brought to me at the station – aged 88, I did not feel like running back myself – within 20 minutes. My train arrived at 11.37 but the fish did not.

The spot is just right for catching your attention as you pass to or from your journey over the mts. CLEAN, quick, price acceptable service efficient. I just wish they had some creative new ideas about products like a hot fish curry and rice or a fish soup of some kind to broaden the appeal but a good stopover to stop the hunger pains on a long journey

This is a very good fish and chip shop in the centre of Blackheath. Everything tastes fresh and it's a good, clean and quick place to stop on a trip to the mountains.

Very clean and fresh take away fish and chip shop located a few minutes away from Blackheath train station. They also serve food like burgers and thick shakes. They have the best potato scallops I've ever tasted! The fish cocktails are great as well and they are reasonably priced. Good place to stop for a feed if your up in the Blue Mountains sightseeing and need to feed hungry kids in a hurry!
