We ordered blinds to be delivered to WA. The customer service started when I was contacted to check measurements, and given advice in relation to our windows and how to measure them. They also advised on colours, roller covering/style and pelmet. This made sure the blinds were custom made accurately by the factory. After everything arrived we had contact throughout the day by email, text and phone to help us self-install. Without this help we would likely have not ordered correctly, and struggled to install.

I utilized blinds down under for a fabric reskin on some of my living room blinds. The order process was super easy, however I had some issues with delivery. Blinds Downunder was nothing but helpful and supportive during these issues, contacting the delivery partner on my behalf. I eventually received the product and was very impressed with the quality and ease of install. Would highly recommend.

I was having trouble finding a blind company that would supply fabric only but was given Blinds Downunder contact number from a manufacturer. After talking to Alan I was ecstatic and relieved to finally find someone who would do this. He explained exactly what was required from me to place my order and went through the process of installing. I recently purchased custom sized full cassette blockout blinds and standard roller blinds through Blinds Downunder. Their customer service was next level - they took the time to double check everything with me and followed up to make sure I was happy with the products and didn't run into any issues with installation. My order arrived much quicker than expected given these were custom order items, and I was positively surprised with the quality of them. Fit and finish is perfect, and they look and feel much more expensive than they actually cost. Can’t thank Alan enough for his amazing dedication to making our difficult project a great success. While we were specifying the job Alans patience with my detailed and constant questions was unwavering. We used the smart motors on double rollers with pelmets so there was a lot to consider. Alan even customised the pelmet for us minimising the opening to give a super clean look.

We weren’t comfortable to install ourselves so Alan offered a full service install as we are nearby to him in Melbourne. The install proved way more difficult than expected with a variety of solutions required to deal with the different wall constructions present. I had an order of 5 roller blinds, all different sizes, two types of roll back, and two colours of fittings (only thing the same was the colour/fabric). I received a confirmatory email checking the details (I was very appreciative of this level of service), and the order was delivered in under two weeks - everything as ordered. Fitting was straight forward, and the final product looks fantastic. Why would anyone (with even an ounce of DIY talent - or should that be gram (?)) purchase blinds any other way but through the BD team.

I used this company for the mechanism repair of a 2.8-meter-wide roller blind. Allan after receiving the parts came in to resolve the issue with the roman blind which he fixed in very short time. There were other smaller roman blinds with some problems which he investigated and provided solutions. Allan spent nearly an hour on three other roman blinds which were fixed to great extent but charged me only for fixing the large blind. When I got the invoice, I wanted to pay for the extra work he had done but he declined to accept the extra amount. I also found that Allan is connected to factories that make blind and he can get new blinds made through this outfit.
Considering his professionalism, honesty and punctuality, I have no hesitation in recommending him for the good work he does.

Ordered a pelmet. Hard to order sight unseen, but Alan talked me thru it and made the whole process easy. Pelmet looks lovely, and th customer service was great.

Order a couple of pelmets from them. Sent photos through email and they were super prompt at getting back to us and suggesting the right product. Super easy to order. Once arrived we had alittle bit of trouble with the install. But again sent an email with photos and they got back to us super fast and it was easy from there!
