This was the first time I've tried the Bluewater cafe and we picked this place as the menu looked interesting and the place was busy. We ordered the Bluewater Tasting Plate, which had Smoked salmon, arancini balls, fish cakes, salt and peppered soft shell crab, prawn skewers, green tea noodles with sake & Korean dressing, which was average. The best item on the tasting plate was the arancini balls as it was crunchy on the outside and garlicy soft on the inside. The 2nd dish we ordered was the Lamb Espatada, but were served the grilled Moroccan Lamb Salad instead as they got out order wrong. We decided to keep the grilled Moroccan Lamb Salad, which was pretty good except the lamb was over cooked and tough. For a drink, I had the mango smoothie, which had hardly any flavours and very disappointing.
Bluewater is overall an average cafe and overpriced for the quality.

Approximate cost: $61

My mother in law loves this place we regularly eat there. I find the food great but a little overpriced. Everything is well presented. You must try the affogato. Yum

My husband and I really enjoyed our afternoon bite to eat here. It has a great location on the strip overlooking South Steyne in Manly. Fairly fast service and reasonably priced for it's location.
