Boronia Lodge

I was in studying in Sydney so had to stay locally. The Boronia staff (Jan and Molly) couldn't have made me feel more wlecome. I was given a very comfortable room, with ensuite, which perfectly suited my needs. Lodge itself is a well-kept older dwelling, walking distance to the station and Westfields Shopping Centre. Very quiet and comfortable. I have stayed at other local guesthouses and this is the best.

I stayed here with a friend in a twin room in early 2007. I believe it has since been renovated, but even back then I found the rooms to be comfortable (not spacious, but good for the price). The location by the railway is convenient for exploring Sydney (about a 20 minute train ride into the city). The owner was pleasant and always ready to assist us with directions and advice. There's a kitchen for communal use but we didn't use it, instead we preferred to eat at one of the many nearby (and cheap) restaurants, offering food from all parts of the world. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it as good budget accommodation.
