I cannot speak highly enough of this place! My pets have seen many of their vets and all have been amazing. They have a genuine care and concern for animals and are very honest and open in their judgements.
Thank you so much Boronia Vet and Animal Hospital!

Our various dogs have been patients a this surgery for a number of years and the care has always been of a very high quality.
Staff are very attentive and helpful, the clinic is clean and the medical care given Ian supportive caring manner.
We recommend this clinic to others as it is important to have confidence in the care provided to our pets.

Baby is almost walking again! We have had such attentive care over recent weeks and she is making fabulous progress since having her cruciate replaced. Great opening hours; they have been our vet for 10 years.

These guys were my local vets for years. While they're generally good, and I still go there when I need emergency after-hours care for my dog, I find it really frustrating that you never see the same vet twice. When you're treating a serial problem, that means I'm given different advice every time. (Surgery recommended by one vet, not recommended by another vet, etc.)

I was really disappointed with them when my dog had a chronic ongoing skin allergy problem. He was suffering badly and scratching himself raw. This went on for months and many vet visits, and we were just about to give up and go from oral cortizone treatments (really not ideal) to injected cortizone (worse, and expensive), when my not-a-vet aunt suggested I check my garden for a plant called wandering dew.

Well. Yes, I had wandering dew, and googling it revealed vet practice after vet practice warning about dog skin allergies to it. Not one of the many different vets at Boronia who treated my dog had asked me about plants in my yard. I pulled the things out and his poor sore skin finally had a chance to heal. I was so cross with them for putting my dog through months of suffering when a simple question about common causes could have solved the problem right off. Not to mention the expense!

However, they've taken good care of us at other times.

A rather expensive practice. Our dog has received some bad treatment and has been hospitalised at a different vet instead. Some of the vets are very caring, however it is really hit and miss and if your pet is in overnight it is impossible to get in touch with anyone there to get an update after 6pm

fantastic pricing and treatment of both animals and people. Overnight care is available once you are a client and with a large selection of vets present it is easy to find one you connect with and trust to take your pets to.

I have been taking my animals to Boronia Vet since I got my old girl in 1994 when I was living at home in Boronia. I then moved to Coldstream and I still take them there. They are absolutely amazing!!! I've taken dogs, cats & rabbits for many different and varying things there and they have been fantastic with all of them. My old girl was pts Sept 2009 after having several fits and they were the only Vet I would take her to to 'do the deed'.

I have used Boronia Vet Clinic for a few years including 2 emergency situations.
Vets were friendly & knowlegable (though we rarely saw the same vet twice). Desk staff seem quite young & not overly friendly/interested. They're very well priced which always helps.

Unfortunately I won't be returning to use their services as I found out they provide vet services for a local 'puppy broker' 'ACA Breeder Kennels' and I am against 'factory farming' animals. http://www.acabreederskennels.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=80&Itemid=122

We have a dog. And we go to these guys for all the vaccinations and any problems. Plus our dog got run over last year. The 2 things that saved his life were that he is so big and that they did such a great job fixing him up. It was a pricy fix up, but because we had pet insurance it only cost us a $100 excess. They really care about the pets and our dog loves them. One of the cleanest and fanciest you'd ever see too!
