I would have thought of dinning in Bravo Bistro, if I had not come across a special deal - voucher for 2 people (mains & deserts & glasses of wine). I was absolutely impressed by quality of service and food.
My dish presented seared snapper and king prawn risotto. As I am a huge fan of mushrooms, I could not resist to mushroom sauce containing also green peppercorn & béarnaise. Although I have not had risotto for ages, I loved the combination of seafood and creamy rice. Mushroom sauce was seriously the best mushroom sauce I have ever had...rich in mushroom taste! Divine!

My accompany had slow roasted pork belly on sautéed red cabbage with toasted walnuts and greens on side. I did not taste pork as I don't eat it, however, my friend loved it. Bed of cabbage was however outstanding for its sweet and nutty flavour.

For desserts we had crème brûlée and vanilla bean panna cotta with strawberry salad. Both deserts were very well done. I loved my panna cotta served also with a toasted marshmallow.

Waitress with lovely American accent served us whole evening. She was very professional and had a nice smile. I also asked a barman when we came in where our reserved table was. He directed me to waitress very politely too.

I regret the special deal is over and I cannot purchase any more vouchers as I would love to take another of my friends there...will have to pay regular prices and support their business as every other customer ;-)

I would like to say I came back there on Tuesday evening not knowing of their Tuesday deals - order 2 mains for price of 1 if you purchase 2 mock-tail / spirit drinks. My friend had the exact meal that I had first time. Main meal looked exact the same but mushroom sauce was not as thick and mushroomy. I had tasmanian salmon with spinach which was absolutely beautiful! I already knew one waitress who provided her service to me this evening again. She was as lovely as the other night. When we wanted to order wines, another waitresses with Spanish accent assisted us...another very nice staff. What can I say - apart from learning they may have a number of cooks who make mushroom sauce always tasty but different, they always provide amazing service.

Approximate cost: $15-30

Unassuming and pleasant hotel / restaurant - good service behind the bar before dinner - able to withdraw cash free of charges when buying our first round, which was handy! The menus - both the a la carte and the tapas - were pretty diverse - something for everyone. Portion sizes weren't huge for the a la carte options, but were of great quality. Seafood linguine was really well done, while the other half's pork belly was not bad. Would happily return to Bravo for a Sunday session with tapas in the very near future!

Approximate cost: $23

Stopped and had a wine with friends , was nice sitting out side until people start smoking as all the outside is designated to smokers .....a big put off !
They have a great wine selection if you are looking for something a little different

I like to go here with my friend who lives close by and check out the scene and share a bottle of wine. Then order some snacks and and perhaps a light meal to follow. Great spot to be in the cool set.
