I must admit it, this place had a lovely vibe. It is a very busy restaurant.
Great friendly and knowledgeable staff, food was amazing (I had the corn fritter) and nice beer list.
Definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Daylesford!

It was a long weekend when we were there, the service was great from the moment we walked in, we were served immediatley by a friendly waitress & the coffees were bought to us by an enthusiastic male, a little too enthusiastic as he sung at the top of his voice as we paid the bill on the way out. The food was really fresh & tasty and I would recommend this place for a brekky. Thanks

Breakfast and Beer is a lovely little spot down the hill away from the main cafe/shopping strip in Vincent St. They boast an amazing array of beers, as one would expect, with staff who are well versed in aiding you with a selection. A cosy open fire is lovely for those super chilly winter nights, and days! The staff, as well as being efficient and knowledgable, are very friendly, which, along with the eclectic decor, is what helps make this cafe the lovable spot that it is :) The food is also lovely, although my initial experience was more memorable than subsequent ones, though perhaps this was an instance of the first time is the greatest ;-)
