I ordered my first delivery from Fruits and Veggies Wednesday afternoon, after arriving home from a long weekend away to realise I had little to no fresh food in my house.

I was initially told the earliest delivery available was Saturday, however, to my delight, and despite their super busy schedule, they managed to squeeze me in Friday morning. Thanks Ali!

This morning, I found a lovely large box brimming with fresh fruit & veggies at my front gate. I cannot express how happy I am with the impeccable service of this business! All too often deliveries are late; these guys were at the start of the delivery window! So now I get to spend my sunny Friday morning eating yummy watermelon, bananas, apples and pears instead of waiting around for a delivery and wondering if they'll even show up.

Highly recommended. The produce I have eaten so far is tasty & good quality, the service was fantastic, and the absolute dreamy ease of ordering fresh food online and having it delivered straight to you...well, it goes without saying! (It's brilliant!).

Fruit & Veggies deliver within a 50km radius of Melbourne CBD. They are part of Aroma Bakery, so you can order your bread & baked goods at the same time. Aroma, for those who haven't experienced them, have about four stores around Melbourne & make yummy bread & baked treats.

These guys rock! So flexible! No contracts, cheap plans, great coverage.

I was with 3/Vodafone for years before I switched to Amaysim. Coverage, customer service, affordability - Amaysim has it all over my past mobile phone provider.

Highly recommended! I hear they also do great data packs.

Consistently good food. Service is friendly & efficient. Decor could do with a makeover.

A good place to go with a group and indulge in a few different dishes. If you are unable to fit in dessert, I recommend taking some away! The Turkish delight, lady fingers and baklava are always a hit.

Nice tasty food, good place to take a group of people. Tables upstairs have seating with cushions on the floor which adds to the experience.

Experience was detracted by the cleanliness of the restaurant upstairs. Downstairs seemed 'fresher'.

If you haven't tried the Moroccan Soup Bar, you must do so soon! It really is a Melbourne Institution.

The food is all fresh and pretty yummy. I've only ever had the banquet, which is whatever the kitchen brings you! A selection of dishes to share. Great for groups of people who all eat at a similar rate, which sadly I don't! I just need to remember to place enough food on my plate earlier on before the less sharing conscious gobble it all up!

The reason for me not giving a higher rating is that although the food while lovely is a little too much like what I cook at home. Not really restaurant quality imo. That being said the price allows for that downside.

The staff, atmosphere and service are all good. Oh and it's vegetarian! Another plus in my book :-) on the downside, it is dry. No alcohol, although there is a cute little bar next door, the Monkey Bar, to catch up for a drink before or after your meal if you are that way inclined.

Firstly, I would love to have given these guys a great review. The management and staff were all friendly and genuinely nice people. That being said, I would not go back to this restaurant.

The food was ok. Pretty run of the mill. Neither bad nor great.

My partner and I were out for a romantic three course meal, slow, relaxed, taking our time and enjoying each other's company and good food. This was the intention anyway....

What really made for such a disappointing experience was the way we were raced through our meals. Pretty much as soon as the entrees were cleared the mains were placed down, and the same with the desserts. Although by that time we both made sure our main plates weren't cleared for awhile by leaving something on our plates so we had a bit of a break prior to the third course!

The food itself was, like I said, ok. It could have passed for good if we'd had more time to digest! My partner hasn't been able to look at calamari again (his entree), and I doubt he will for at least a few years. Not that it was bad, just that it sat on his stomach poorly and didn't have that digestion time.

So, all in all, a really disappointing experience. I wanted so badly for these guys to deliver, sadly their failing was delivering way wayyyy too fast!

If you are in the area and are thinking of giving them a try I'd suggest a quicker meal or pizza rather than our romantic three courser. Although for diners who are after a quick meal I guess Porcino would fit the bill!

A gorgeous Thai restaurant hidden in Alphington. A far cut above the regular Thai restaurant in every aspect. The atmosphere, decor, food and service were all exceptional.

I still remember the taste, flavour - whole sight, smell, sound experience of one of the most amazing salads i have ever had the priviledge of sumpting on. Pricey but what one expects from a restaurant in this league.

Highly recommended and ideal for that special occasion!

I have been to the Bimbo many times over the years, although the gap between my last two visits was an extended one. I had always been satisfied with the pizzas and the pub as a whole in the past.

After my latest visit I doubt I shall return. The pizzas both my partner and I ordered were well below average. The amount and quality of toppings was just....lacklustre, disappointing, abysmal was more the word I am looking for.

For such a cheap price some may say, what can you expect, well I can expect some pride in what you are producing for your customers. The pizzas were not worth the money spent.

On top of that the house beer served, which was not cheap ;-), was so thick and yellow light would not pass through it.

Staff were also rude.

A thoroughly disappointing experience from a venue that had impressed in the past. So much so that I feel the need to share my bad experience with others and vow to never ever return.

Bad Bimbo, Bad :/

A nice little cafe serving breakfast all day, always a plus!, and lunches, sweet treats, and so on. The cafe is a decent size with ample and comfortable seating.

The cherry on the cake for me was the pot of chamomile tea I had. The tea was just gorgeous! And cost a reasonable $3 for the pot. Lovely and fresh and a plentiful amount of herbs in the pot. All too often tea in a cafe is served with a tea bag...shocking imo! We have had a coffee renaissance in recent years, sadly tea has not followed suit.

I cannot applaud Bittersweet and manager Toby Wong enough for their efforts on this front! Highly highly recommended and I shall go out of my way to return for a pot of chamomile tea and try their other varieties! Truly the best tea I have had in a cafe in years, perhaps of all time!

Thanks Bittersweet :-)

A lovely little Italian Ristorante. I went with a group of four, everyone enjoyed their meals. Mine was a crepella, which was light and tasty filled with fluffy ricotta and basil.
A good selection of wines and beverages, including a delightful pink lady cider, the name of the brewery I have unfortunately forgotten!
Dessert was definitely the highlight of the evening, most of us sumpted on house made gelati. My partner opted for the chocolate soufflé served with blood orange sorbet. Absolutely stunning desserts!
All in all a lovely evening, the atmosphere and ambience of the ristorante made for a most memorable time spent with dear people :-)
