This is my regular bakery for a quick and easy hot lunch. As a vegetarian I cannot vouch for their meat pies or sausage rolls, but I do enjoy their vego selection, which compared to the average bakery is impressive - even gourmet!

The vegetarian quiche is my favourite item, with the curry lentil pie a close second. They also do a lovely chickpea pie, and the cheese and spinach rolls are a scrumptious delight if you can forgive yourself the indulgence when contemplating the empty, grease-saturated paper bag afterwards.

Prices are probably pretty standard for bakeries - perhaps a little on the high side, but the food is quality.

My only warning is that this is business best accessed by foot, as parking can be very difficult to get on busy jetty road Brighton.

Certainly not one of the best bakeries in Adelaide, but it is ok. The prices are reasonable and their pies are ok, most recently tried the steak and mushroom, cannot say it was anything special, but it did fulfil my needs at the time.

We bought a pastie and a pie from here and they were really horrid the filling of the pastie was not at all fresh the pastry was stiff and overcooked. We got them to take out and were halfway along the beach when we decided to sit down and eat them otherwise i would of taken them back they were that bad. I only had two bites and threw the rest away. Hubby ate his pie bit declared we wont ever be going there again. Really poor quality and the flavors were bland and yuck. Service was good but not enough to make up for the horrid food. Harsh but true!

Went there on a pleasant winter's day. The variety of pies is good and they tasted good. The variety of cakes is average, but they were nice. The coffee was good. The service was excellent. Sitting at the bench overlooking the passerbys was interesting. Would be better on a summery day. Nice place to grab a pleasant quick lunch.

Average pretty much sums up this experience. the food we had (a pastie and a pie) was edible but certainly not great and the service was apalling - we were made to feel that we were a nuisance when we stepped inside thE door and didn't knoW what we wanted immediately - even though there was no one else waiting. It is a great outlook onto the beach from the bakery though and a great setup with the ability to open the windows right up in good weather.
