Fixed my car when others couldn't

The team at Brighton Toyota fixed an issue with my car that our local mechanics could not. The professionalism, service and kindness of Manny, Diana and their team was amazing. I highly recommend their diagnostic team for any toyota issues that other mechanics cannot diagnose. I am so thankful that they helped me during such a busy christmas period.

My sister, who had terminal cancer was forced to drive with no air conditioning after Brighton Toyota failed to rectify the issue after charging $180 for the privilege. When discussing this with Roy Carter the manager I was told that Toyota stood by their workmanship even though after claiming to have fixed the leaking air conditioning my sister tried to use the air conditioning and had the same leak into the foot well. As my sister was too unwell to come into Brighton Toyota for a second time due her doubts that they would fix it properly or charge her again to fix it and because she was unwell with terminal cancer and didnt want to sit around waiting for the car to be fixed or pay twice and possibly not have the issue fixed she never got healthy enough to try. When an independent party unblocked the pipe which had disconnected becasue it was blocked, and reconnected the pipe the air conditioning worked with no leak, but it appears Toyotas service mechanics couldnt achieve this outcome which left my sister and 70+ year old mother to drive around for the Asutralian summer and autumn to get various cancer related treatments without air conditioning as Toyota had said they would probably have to charge her to fix it again. Unable to produce a mechanics report that detailed how the issue was fixd properly which was clearly that Toyota had not either, cleared the blockage, only partially cleared the blockage or had not properly re-connected the air con pipe Roy Carter of Toyota said that unless a mechanics report could be produced Toyota would stand by their claim of good workmanship and not refund the money for the work that was not completed correctly so would close the case. Having put that the pipe blockage was the cause of the issue and it had continued to cause the issue Roy Carter still refused to take any action without a report even when I asked him to suggest what other sscenario could have caused the sir con pipe to again bust and leak if Toyota had correctly doen the job they had paid for to which Roy had no response except get a report. Thanks Toyota fro your incompetence, lack of customer service and for having my terminally ill sister drive around with no air con with my 70+ year old mother to her appointments without air con and your refusal to accept responsibility for an issue that if corrected in the first place would not have been an issue

We purchased a car from Brighton Toyota from their salesman Sony he was so welcoming & supported us to purchase the car we needed. His gentle kind nature made this such an easy decision & gave us the 5 star treatment . Many thanks & love the coffee too. Mario & Josie

Very poor customer service when trying to resolve a problem , 3 calls later and still no return call . Eventually pick up the car with nothing being resolved .

Came in to Brighton Toyota (77 Nepean Highway Elsternwick) with a car that’s worth over $32,000 market value. Spoke to a man called Yash. After he assessed it, head office approved an offer of $27,000. Then when it was time to close the deal, was told he made a mistake and offered just $17,000. What a scam! Total rip off. If you don’t want to be taken advantage of and lied to, take your car somewhere else.

Brought a new car from Andre and the team at brighton , I must say the transaction was smooth ,it was not only the best price but it was the first price they gave me unlike other dealers saying “come back if you get a better price” and we wonder why some dealers give the industry a bad name.
