Have only been once and it was over 12 months ago now and the meat was pretty good. Very decent prices and affordable for families

have been there twice in recent weeks and first time was fine service was good and I was reasonably happy with what I bought, the second time I paid a lot more than what chicken is in the supermarkets and the butcher spent about ten minutes chatting to someone else out the back behind the counter, I was so annoyed I almost walked out if this is the level of service when, trying to support local businesses then forget it who has the time to stand and wait for someone to have a chat - wait till the customers leave !

I found the prices ok, nothing too fantastic, the meat was ok too. If I lived closer I may go there more but I have found a butcher closer that has prices that are on comparison to that of the meat market.

To me, this butcher doesn't seem up to standards of friendliness as other butchers. I've only been here a few times, and it could be due to the staff on the day. They didn't really seem interested in the customer, preferring to talk between themselves. The meat looks pretty good, but guys, don't put offall in the main part of the freezer section, okay?

bought 3kg "prime rump" 2 1/2 kg rib fillet both sliced free and 1kg rib fillet steaks. never NEVER again will we step foot in that door again. rib fillet was ok but rib fillet steaks and "prime rump" was like eating a hessian sack,tough and chewy,still picking meat out of our teeth. GOTO JACK PURCELL IN VIRGINIA OR BETTER STILL IF YOU CAN TRAVELL FRESH IN CABOOLTURE.

my regular butchers. pleasant meat market to be in. clean environment and fresh produce. majority of staff are extremely helpful where as a few can be quite rude. overall pleasant experience each time.
