Very disappointed in their customer service. On two occasions now I have scheduled in, shown up and told either they couldn’t accomodate me or they couldn’t provide everything I had signed up for due to timing.
When they cancelled the appointment they were apologetic and offered another time slot. During the middle of the day in two days time. After I already took the day off work I can’t just take more time off. I get things happen, but don’t say you left messages to reschedule when I don’t have them. I sat and went through my entire text history, nothing. No missed calls for the previous 3 weeks. I did receive an email though. An automotive one asking me to make sure to book in soon.
I have gone to this salon since it opened. I have had good stylist and some that weren’t so good. But I stayed loyal, I tipped good service. I’m so disappointed treatment of a long term client I won’t be back

Lovely comfortable salon. Massage chairs are great. Less happy with hair colouring.

This is a 7 Star experience...for ambience, service, superb cut and colour...I look like I've had a facelift, my hair is stunning - so my friends tell me. I don't agree with watergirl - they wouldn't let you out of the Salon if you weren't satisfied. I usually scratch my head for days after I've had a colour (which has often happened to me at reputable salons both in Australia and internationally), but not with Brown Sugar - their products rock too. Awesome - can't wait to do it again. Thanks Ciara and Karen

This really is an amazing salon like no other. The staff are friendly and more importantly brilliant at what they do. I would highly recommend Brown Sugar to anyone looking for a great salon.

I can't speak highly enough of this salon. Ive been on numerous occasions and getting my hair done is no longer a chore. From the minute you walk in you're greeted with a smile, the interior is dynamic and unique and the service is first class. Karen, my Consultant is always very attentive, she really listens and is super creative. Ive loved every colour, style and cut. Ive already recommended this salon to friends and family

I have had my Hair cut by the fantastic Dan on Saturday and I was blown away by the complete experience. The salon is beautiful and so so different and the staff were so friendly. What an Experiance, our first visit to brown sugar was on Saturday my sister and I, we have been to a number of hairdressers for a long time all around the area as we believe in supporting our local businesses but to no avail our hair never met up to our expectations , on entering the beautiful salon we felt completely relaxed and were seen to straight away, we where given refreshments, I have never had such an excellent consultation we went through everything finally someone cared and not pushy!! Then a lovely lady came and again we chatted about my colour who knew so much was involved ..it was perfect having hairdressers who knew what they where talking about and ppl who specialised in there given field iv never felt so reassured about my hair before the end result exceeded my expectations iv rebooked and my sister has also ..I can not wait to return ... Iv sent an email to the salon and left comments on there Facebook cause I know they are massive on that ... Thanks to the staff at Brown Sugar well done
