I would not recommend this childcare unless u want to deal with irresponsible and selfish management team. If you dont care about the safety or the well-being of your child, send them here. Because u can't ask anything negative, they will treat you as an enemy.

Hi, This is Vicki and I'm the owner. I'm sad and surprised to read your review as I frequently observe the management team spending time with parents. I'd like to look into what has occurred for you. Please email me directly [email protected].

As an educator myself I looked around and the first things I look for are friendly approachable staff who actually acknowledged me and my son and their willingness to help with the transition process.

I have to say I did see these things when I visited as a potential enrolee. But almost as soon as I payed the fee I can honestly say this is the worst place I could have ever picked for my son. The change in staff attitudes went from happy and engaging to not even acknowledging me or my son during pick up and drop off.

Also, My son has been toilet trained for over a year now but out of nowhere started having frequent accidents and coming home with either wet or dried clothing that smell like urine and I have expressed my consents multiple times yet they don't seem to care at all.

I am completely disgusted with this service as Montessori herself always says children deserve respect and to be treated with dignity. Which I certainly don't see and it saddens me that staff are failing to even meet some of the vary basic pedagogy that Montessori encompasses.

Building Futures Montessori is an outstanding child care service, with amazing and dedicated staff. Every morning I drop my boys off I am greeted with friendly happy faces. With a child with Anaphylaxis it is absolutely essential the Centre listens to our needs and follows specific instructions, Building Futures go out of their way to make sure he is kept safe, yet not made to feel any different to the rest of the children. The staff make a point to get to know the family of the children, and can address us by name every time we arrive or leave for the day. The rooms are full of interesting and engaging activities for the children. The every day learning activities are a fantastic reflection of a learn by doing philosophy. My children are confident resilient boys, and I have every confidence they will thrive at school when the time comes. With regard to the 'constant outbreak of lice' comment, I have never known there to be a lice outbreak at all. The negative comments are not a true reflection so please visit the centre, chat to the staff and, most importantly, look and listen to the happy smiling children you will be surrounded by!

I would certainly not recommend this centre. The staff hardly acknowledge you or your child. They don't even react when concerns are raised. I constantly see kids crying & ignored. My daughter starts crying the moment she sees the building, before we even leave the car. She started having accidents again & she has gone from a quiet, content kid to being clingy & recluse...all in a mere few months. I created an account specifically to write this review to warn other parents. Be careful when considering this centre!

I agree. Staff arent very nice. The rooms are plain and depressing. I took my son out a couple of months ago because he just wouldnt settle. He seems so much happier now. Trust your gut when you look around for a center.

I am surprised by comment below, as I have had a completely different experience. I, in all honesty, can not fault the care, love and respect given to the children in this centre. I've worked in the industry and have seen a wide range of centres, and Building Futures Montessori is by far the most superior centre. My child has been attending the centre for 2 years now, and she is a well adjusted, intelligent young lady and I credit this to the care and education provided by the staff. They're not just loving and nurturing, they also provide a high level of education, married with the Montessori philosophy. 5 star without hesitation.

Very dissapointed with this centre. I have taken my child out for a few reasons. My childs behavior changed dramatically since starting here and i had voiced my concerns a number of times but nothing was done or no actions were put into place. The office staff are rude and never friendly. Very rarely do you even get acknowledged when you walk in a room. Kids noses are running constanlty. Sometimes i'd pick my child up with dry snot everywhere so you know its been there a while. Constant outbreak of lice. Happy to be out.
