They were meant to arrive on Tuesday morning to start concrete stencil around my pool and my partner took day off to be there. They didnt arrive wouldnt answer any of our calls, didnt respond to the 50 messages left for him. He finally called me at 8pm that night and said he had stuffed up and that he will be there on Wednesday morning. They came and all they did was level ground. We were told it was a one day job! I rang him and when i finally got him at 8:30pm he said they will finish job Thursday morning be there at 7:00am. Once again my partner took morning off to see that they came and the got there at 8:50am and said concrete was coming at 10:30am as long as it doesnt rain. My partner left at 9:25am to go to work and they must have done nothing at all and cancelled concrete delivery and went home. When i got home that night and saw nothing had been done i was livid as it was suppose to be done for a party we were holding over 2 days of the long weekend. I rang him over 20 times before i got him and he said that he cant believe that they didnt do it and he was going to call and find out why and call me back. He called me back finally at 8:30pm and said he cant get anyone to do it till the weekend knowing full well we were having people and i said dont bother it will have to be next week. He said even though its my birthday and public holiday on Monday we will finish it then. So of course Monday comes and he doesnt show up again and doesnt answer calls! He rings me at lunchtime saying oh i stuffed up again to which i said dont bother coming back im going to get someone else to finish the job to which he began to beg me to let him finish the job saying he has ordered concrete for noon on Tuesday and let me just do it and get it out the way. I stupidly agreed to let him finish and when we got home from work we were devasted and what he had done. They had laid the wrong pattern for the stencil, wasnt level, no drainage were it was meant to go, concrete square missing in middle of job, black concrete coloring all over my quartzon pool and sandstone pavers staining and damaging them, color over pool filters, inside & on backdoor, windows, decking and all over our marble table and chairs doing over $5000 worth of damage! When i rang to speak to him he didnt answer again i continually called him and left msgs and finally spoke to him at 8:30pm that night and when i told him what had happened he said he was over it and i give up, i give up and then hung up the phone on me! I have called him over 50 times in the past couple of days trying to speak to him to find out if he is going to fix it and remove rubbish but to no avail. He wont return phone calls and refuses to give us his insurance details to fix the damages caused.
PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON HE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNRELIABLE AND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING! I HAVE SPOKEN TO SEVERAL CONCRETERS SINCE AND THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT HE DOES DODGY WORK! WISH I KNEW THAT BEFORE I HIRED HIM!
