This is such a great place for children! There is a playground by the entrance and within the farm for the children to play. Great range of animals and at specific times the children can help feeding the sheep. Sometimes the staff also take out other animals like guinea pig for the children to pet. The cafe is just ok but good chips and nuggets meal for children coming in a take away pack. Affordable entrance prices!

We went here on mothers day and it was a fantastic day, we seen all the farm animals and seen them being feed. Can have horse and tractor rides for a cost $3. We also got a glimpse of a few kangaroos.

It has a great playground. My toddler loves farm animals and although my parents live on a farm (to far away - but free to visit) I felt it was a little over priced, however it did seem a little run down so I guess that's why the price is a little expensive. Great for kids to learn about the farm life.

Approximate cost: $24

Having a toddler who loves animals, we thought to try out this local place. great place to visit and very family friendly of course.

Seeing the animals was a good experience in a farm environment and my son certainly loved every minute of our visit!

We brought our own picnic lunch which we enjoyed whilst there.

Of interest they do kids parties ... something to consider a few years down the track!

this place has a brilliant playground that you can access without having to pay to go into the farm! We have come here for picnics many times! The animals a fairly sparse i found on our trip but nonetheless the kids loved it! At $6.50 entry i thought that wasn't too bad but add $3 a pony ride and another $3 for the tractor it starts to add up. Good but not fantastic!

This place is handy, although it does have a 'school trip' feel to it. It's getting a bit tired. Despite this it's good for the kids to see farm animals. The pigs are a bit scary, they are huge. However the petting area (goats and sheep) were placid enough. There is the chance to ride on a pony (for a fee) also a tractor ride of the park (also for a fee). The canteen was pretty dissappointing....sooooo slow. The clydesdales were lovely though. It was convenient however I think they need to market this place a bit better too make it more appealing.

Great place to take the kids. Tractor rides, pony rides, guinea pigs, chickens, goats, sheep. My son lived it as it was his first time up close with animals. Did think it was a little expensive though

Great place to visit and have a family day out. Our daughter loved it here and all the animals but was scared to go near a rooster that kept on crowing all the time, (the noise scared her a bit). Overall a fantastic day for all and a great learning experience to see all the animals.

I attended my cousin's 2nd birthday party here over the weekend. There were lots of animals for the kids to look at and get to pat - the kangaroos, goats, emus and ducks were a highlight, not to mention the tractor rides.

The park grounds were clean and well maintained and the supervising staff were very friendly and great with the young kids.

Approximate cost: $8

Pony rides, tractor ride to see the emus and kangaroos. My nephews love it. You can cuddle the ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs along with goats, lambs and a baby alpaca last time I went. Take lunch though, cafe is expensive

Write up focuses on the farm rather than cafe etc.
Bundoora Children's Farm is great for kids from 4 - 10.
It give them a chance to interact with animals not normally seen by 'city / suburban' kids.
Also provides a great opportunity for parents to interact with their kids. Great learning environment & relatively close to people.
We had arranged to have our 5yo birthday there. It could get sort of smelly if very hot - but otherwise [I believe] it's ok for kids to 'rough it'

Bundoora Park Children's Farm is great for small children. There are lots of animals and small enclosures that you can wonder through. You can easily spend an entire day there. Would definitely recommend to all ages especially families with young children. The pony rides are a hit but a little short as $2.50 gets you one ride around the corral. Would also recommend to BYO lunch. Overall a great experience for everybody and a great meeting place.

Approximate cost: $7
