Excellent service

Don’t normally patronise the Thornleigh Bunnings but stopped in looking for a few plants. We were helped by Claire, a longtime Bunnings employee. She is a qualified horticulturalist and knew everything - so helpful as we were looking for shade plants. We will be going back to Thornleigh Bunnings for all our garden supplies from now on.

I don't like making a bad review on Bunnings stores, because they have all been very good. Unfortunately this particular store Thornleigh, must be an embarrassment to the company brand Bunnings. With its young arrogant, pretentious empty headed kids that don't want to be there attitude. I'm saying young it seems that all they seem to employ in this poorly managed shambles of a store is kids with attitude, spoilt by Mum and Dad. Ask them about Tik tok they will be an expert on that. I will never step foot in Thornleigh Bunnings again. The Baldy old Manager is a total dud, he was about useful. Sorry Bunnings, but enough said about Thornleigh

We visited Bunnings recently to buy a new power tool. Now overall Bunnings has enough variety to meet our hardware needs and a reasonable price (sometimes in lieu of quality) and we rarely ask for any advice - except for this time. With so many choices we finally found an assistant (quite an ironic title) who after we gained his attention proceeded to make a fake phone call, then talked to newer customers before us. In the end he didn't understand power tools and couldn't explain the differences between the products. I don't know why he was there. This was a Saturday morning so maybe it was bad weekend staff but it was enough that we won't be going there again.

Fairly knowledgeable staff and great charity BBQs on the weekend, but have brought a few things at Bunnings and they broke on the first use, so don't rate their quality very high.

I love pottering around this store and always find something I need! The staff are very knowledgable about their products. I often ask relatives for vouchers for birthdays and Christmas as I know I will always find something.

Although this is not my local Bunnings, i return to it often as the staff are so incredibly nice and helpful! They certainly go out of their way for you, and genuinely want to help.
So much so that a few weeks ago, one staff member Paul was nice enough to change my popped tire for me! He was so gracious about it, and wouldnt accept any tips.
Thanks Bunnings Thornleigh, you rock!

Approximate cost: $5

Sometimes it is hard to find someone to assist but when you do they are fabulous. Willing to help and if they don't know the answer, to find out for you.
