After dropping my car off and having the taxi drop me and my son off so early in the morning we were in need of a coffee. It was cold and wet outside but cosy, warm and welcoming here. The staff were quick with our much needed coffee and we were off to fill in time whilst waiting for my car.

Always enjoy a coffee here, pleasant seating area and friendly staff. We usually take visiting family here as they often request it, the food is always enjoyable.

My girlfriend and I were having a bit of a look around Hahndorf when we really felt like a burger, this cafe was closest so we gave them a try. The menu looked good so we sat down and enjoyed a coffee, burger and a side serve of chips. Our burgers were perfect, a decent size and flavoursome. Staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our order even though it was extremely busy. Nice sitting areas, pleasant cafe. We will be returning.

This time we just had a nice coffee at Cafe Assiette. Have eaten here in the past and enjoyed our meal. As usual the coffee was great.

Had family from interstate visiting and this is one of the many cafes/restaurants we had to take them to. My husband and I enjoyed some great coffee whilst our family just had to have some cake. Had previously tried their focaccia and really enjoyed it. We sat outside on the wooden tables and chairs, was fairly comfortable and fortunately wasn't very busy.

Have experience very friendly service every time we have been here, will definitely be returning.

I always grab a coffee on my way to work and in my opinion it's one of the best in Hahndorf, they're chai latte's are divine! Haven't had much experience in the way of food but the cakes that I have had are delicious and the menu seems to have some great options with a wide variety of dishes. The staff are also lovely. Would definitely recommend.

During our Hahndorf visit we had dessert at Assiette Cafe. I think it is run by the same management as The Stables next next. Thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and apple strudel that was served. Fairly busy atmosphere here but as it was a long weekend that is to be expected. As we were leaving saw a sign which said there was a beer garden available but didn't see it.
