on a girls night out ... we came across this place as we were after dessert and coffee. There was a good range of cakes, biscuits, ice cream on display.

meals are also served including pizzas ..... sorry i did not pay attention to the menu as we were after something sweet to satisfy our craving hehehe

we ordered a chocolate pizza which about a medium size topped with nutella spread and sliced strawberries .... too much to share for just two ladies, as we struggled to finish it .. although it tasted absolutely divine!

my friend is pregnant and has craving for ice cream so she asked for an extra scoop ... the lovely waitress was so obliging ... she even came back later to ask if she wanted more ice cream to fulfill her cravings

it was a very busy saturday evening and we managed to get a table after waiting a few minutes. our waitress was lovely, very friendly, cheerful and did her best to serve us promptly.

my only complaint was the coffee was not strong but very milky ...

• Waitress was exceptional
• Manager pleasant to deal with
• Food very disappointing
Six lunch time diners- two lasagnes, two chicken parmas, one steak burger, one pizza.
Two lasagnes came out heavily topped with bechamel sauce. The centre of the lasagne was icy cold. The steak of the burger was cold and dry, the waitress returned the meals to the kitchen.
The pamas, one which came out much later than the other five meals was a dark brown, companied by cold chips.
The waitress was very apologetic and accommodating with free drinks.
Second round of meals came out without improvement, most of the food left, with the diners too embarrassed to complain further.
The pizza was faultless-well presented, beautiful crust, hot, fresh and tasty.
The bill arrived, the happy pizza customer went to negotiate the bill with the manager, prepared to pay for what was acceptable and consumed.
The manager accepted the compromise without hesitation or fuss, with apologies for our experience.

Like the previous review we ate here because we could easily get a seat at 7pm on a Saturday night - even with a group of 12 people! Our waiter was lovely, very attentive and patient as a few of our guests may or may not have had downed some hard liquor prior and gotten somewhat loud! He didn't mind and even entertained them. Menu is quite vast and caters to anyone. I had a chicken parma though I found it to be bland, more like cardboard with a few sprinkles of oregano on top. But I seemed to be the only one who found this as two other girls whom ordered the same as I did where satisfied! Oh well maybe it was just my dish but I suppose I would return again and try out the beef ragu or a pizza.

I went to Baci on a double date with some friends in Crown.
Most of the other restaurants were full so this was our last choice.
Both me and the other girl in our group ordered the Carbonara. OH MY GOSH, i cannot describe how AWFUL it was! it was honestly the worst sort of pasta i have ever eaten. I dont even know if i can classify it as pasta.
The meal was sooo soo soo overly salty and didn't even resemble carbonara at all. No creamy taste even. AND the pasta was even hard! It was served with a piece of crispy bacon on top which was the nicest part of the dish. I honestly couldn't even bring myself to finish the dish, nor did the other girl. We ended up at Maccas afterwards. It was just awful.
After complaining to my boyfriend, a restaurant manager approached our table and asked how our food was. Seeing that me and the other girl had not touched our food, he focused most of the discussion on the boys. We told him we weren't happy and that it didnt taste nice at all. His response was that it may be salty due to the panchetta in the dish and then moved onto a completely different subject.
what disappointed me most was that he collected our still full plates without offering another dish in replacement, or to have our meals re-cooked or any thing at all! he just watched us sit there while our boyfriends ate their food. I thought it was very unprofessional.
To be fair, our boyfriends loved the food, having a steak sandwich and seafood risotto. They had no compaints with that whatsoever.
But i can tell you know, the most unpleasant meal i have ever eaten, hands down.
I'd give it a miss.

We had breakfast here while waiting for our room to be ready. The prices are no more expensive than any other decent restaurant serving breakfast. We had eggs benedict, yoghurt with fruit, coffees and juice. Service is prompt and professional and the food was all delicious.

The atmosphere is very busy with lots of people looking for breakfast even at 11am.

All servers seem to be bilingual (lots of accents).

Recommended if you're in the area.

Approximate cost: $15

I have been to this cafe a few times for coffee and dinner.. The food was just decent - I had pizza! The service is a bit slow .. it took 20 mins - 25 mins for my pizza to arrived.. the price is a bit pricey.. but do not forget the location is in Crown casino..So, the location does influence the price of the food.

Had dinner here with my mum and ordered the Mushroom risotto - which was to die for. My mum also really enjoyed her Seafood pasta.
Service was a touch slow - we waited quite a while for our drinks even though we were sitting right near the bar.
It was also slightly overpriced.

We had breakfast here. The eggs were Ok. I was disappointed that the bread was ordinary supermarket style sliced bread. I think this always spoils a cafe breakfast. Overall, pretty average.

Approximate cost: $12

Not keen on the coffee but I have to say they sell the best gelati. Whether you want chocolate fudge of lemon, the flavors are amazing and I regularly go here. The staff are kind and friendly.
