The Cafe de Paris is a good place to have either coffee, lunch, or just a pick me up when shopping here in Marion Westfield. This cafe is about half way down the mall towards Woolworths. I usually just have coffee and a sit down which I usually need before progressing onwards. The coffee is good and the service is friendly.

The staff are great..excellent coffee.. It is always a pleasure to spend an hour or so. The food is very good, but a bit more variety would not go amiss. Current staff are the best they have had, and are extremely obliging

Reasonable coffee 'shop' right in the middle of the mall. Staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee is good but the cakes are quite average.

I have worked at this cafe. I would rank it from an employee's point of view that the standard of food is reasonably average for a privately owned cafe. Many small cafe owner's cakes and savories probably aren't the freshest tasting because they don't usually waste them at the end of every night- like what most company-owned outlets do. But on top of this, the salad serves are very good with a lot of different options to choose from.
They specialize in different simple European cuisines- Italian, Greek foods- as well as the everyday foccasias and lapinjas.
The staff are a different story. I could understand if the customer service is sloppy, as a lot of clashing and tension between workers happens there.
As for the "burnt" smell that is sometimes noticeable at De Paris, and has been mentioned in a review below... it is actually pieces of cheese or other fillings from grilled foods which have broken away from the dish and been left in the grill to over-cook and burn. It's worse working with it. Believe me

I found Cafe De Paris disappointing. Only went once with a friend. Food was fine - as you would expect from a shopping centre cafe, but the service from the waitress who brought our coffee to the table was poor. The coffee slopped all over the saucer and made quite a mess. We felt she just threw the cups down on the table. It just spoiled the experience. Don't like to be a whinger but I would rather have carried it myself. I agree that prams are welcome and it is a bit easier to fit in here than at other venues.

Great place for a coffee or quick tasty lunch. I especially like it location if you are just wanting to get away from the noise of the centre. The coffe is good.

The quiches are tasty, and on most days they offer quiche and salad, or quiche and coffee deals. The chicken salad is okay, but they shred the chicken - I prefer it in strips. (I have teeth; I can use them). They accept the Entertainment vouchers - 25% off total bill. Every now and then, I walk past and it smells like someone burnt something, but I've never received anything burnt when ordering, nor have I seen 'burnt' things on other peoples plates.

This cafe is really nice to sit down at and take a break from shopping. I like their greek salad and hot chocolates. It is family friendly for mums with babies in prams.
