I've been there 4 or 5 times in recent years and enjoy their North African / Moroccan cuisine. The lamb with pomegranate and yoghurt comes over as very authentic (I had it is Israel and Jordan too).
The only problem was that the chairs don't have backs (OK if your under 30) and sometimes it was bit of a squeeze and a wait (but what do you expect from a good restaurant?, eh)

Approximate cost: $20

This is my favourite breakfast place in Surry Hills. The middle eastern menu has so many variety of choices that I always hard to decide what to order, . My all time favourite is the baked eggs, beans and sucuk (a turkish chorizo) with herbed toast.
The staff are very friendly and they bring all your food to your table with a big smile without missing anything. Definitely will come back always.

By far one of my favourite cafe's in Sydney. The food is very different from most places around, and the quality is exceptional! My two favourite dishes are the lemon chicken plate, and the chickpea salad. My wife and I have been going to Cafe Mint for 5 years now and it's defeintely one of our top 3 breakfast cafes.

If you're after a good coffee hit this is the place to go. Not only do they make excellent coffee, they make food that is a mix of Morrocan with an aussie twist. The grilled chicken and mezze plate is so good and the staff are always friendly.

Approximate cost: $14.00

A cute, timber-panelled little cafe at the Cleveland street end of Crown Street. Nice spot for breakfast or a mid-morning coffee. Friendly staff and efficient service.

Tiny cafe on Crown Street. They offer great desserts and coffee.
They also have great meals - everything is good - you just have to be lucky to get a seat.
I have been going to this cafe for over 4 years.
I love their almond and grapefruit frappe.
