Positioned in the most funky part of Surry Hills, this Bistro has a lot on offer. You can go there for brunch, lunch or dinner. They have lovely selection of cheese and the takeaway sandwiches are divine~ I will never look at sandwiches the same way ever again. Never thought they can be some yummy.
They serve the most delicious rustic Italian meals. Their pasta are home made and the ambiance is very homey. There is a courtyard area at the back of the restaurant. Do book in advance - or you might miss out!
They have the best collection of Danish Furniture, Retro and Art Deco here. The Main showroom is on Elizabeth St, but there is also a sales Showroom @268 Cleveland Street, Surry Hills. They are quite expensive, but if you are looking for something specific, try your luck here~
Great cafe on Elizabeth Street close to Central station. They offer generous meals and healthy juices. Great place for weekend breakfast. They also offer catering services.
I love their Dory Grapes Pine Nuts & Gratin Potatoes. Small establishment what used to be a butcher before it was converted to a Fish and Chips eatery. Don't be mistaken, they are much more than just fish and chips shop. Have a lazy lunch with a glass of wine in Surry Hills style.
They offer authentic Japanese food at reasonable prices. Their alcoholic drinks are cheaper than most restaurants as it is a "Club" so you need to sign in when you enter the restaurant. Make sure you check out the daily specials.
They offer authentic Japanese food. They specialise in Ramen and Udon/Soba. Their Nabeyaki Udon is nice. I wish they offer more seasonal meals - I find their menu is always the same. Nice relaxing koto music as BGM.
I like to go to Zilver for Yum Cha. They offer a great range of dishes and their seats are comfortable. Weekends can get very busy - if you can get there before 11.30am, you can get a table without waiting for long.
They serve the most mouth-watering dumplings in Sydney. The service is always polite and are very child-friendly. Have your meal with a Lychee and Mint Frappe - they are delicious.
We go to East Ocean for Yum Cha on a regular basis. They offer a wide range of dishes from from fried food to steam food to desserts. Be prepared to wait in line for a while on weekends - but it is worth the wait.
