We go to this cafe whenever we are in Torquay after a walk on the beach or a play in the park. There is a fantastic outdoor area for the kids with a playground and a cubbyhouse. The last time we went there were patio blinds up so we could sit outside out of the wind and still watch the kids while drinking our coffee. Our boys like the smartie cookies and the babychinos. We like the lattes and the egg and bacon breakfasts. The staff are friendly, sometimes there can be a bit of a wait for food as it is quite popular but they will let you know how long you will need to wait for.

Great spot for breakfast, lunch or coffee and great cakes! I love the Savoury muffins and a tea cup for my son. Milkshakes not great, but great place to come with kids for the sandpit out back.

Beach front cafe with a nice big breakfast and good coffee. you can sit outside or indoors and enjoy the ocean view. Also have been there for dinner in the summer months go the fried japanese chicken and the pizza is pretty good. Nice little spot in Torquay.

We spent an enjoyable lunch here today after a long walk along the beach with our dogs. This is a nice little cafe on The Esplanade away from the rest of the shops of Torquay. There was some good outdoors seating, but we ate inside at it was pretty cold weather. The menu was limited, but what they had was very good. I had the lamb turkish pide and my wife had the cajun chicken. Both were very tasty, as were the coffees - not bad at $3. It's clear that this place prides itself on quality ingredients and food. There looked like a reasonable selection of cakes and other deserts if you were so inclined.

Approximate cost: $12
