We get from Cafe Tara semi-regularly for lunch/breakfast. Their breakfast staples (benny, smashed avo, big brekky for example) are simple but done to perfection. Their burgers, though, are phenomenal. Best halloumi burger I’ve ever had, and if the lamb’s not perfect it’s certainly close. Haven’t tried the others yet, but keen to do so at some point. Good portion size—enough to feel well-satisfied without feeling stuffed.

This place has a menu that is heavy on the sandwiches (melts, wraps, bagels etc), but the salads are excellent. They are very kid friendly too. it is more of a spot for locals than somewhere to seek out.

Love this place, great food and excellent service. Wouldnt change a thing. I have small kids and the outdoor area enabled us to sit back and relax without worrying about them running out the door.

Approximate cost: $20

I love this cafe and their sister coffee shop at Strathpine. The food is always beautifully presented and fresh. They also make very nice coffees. I have visited this coffee shop quite a few times and have never been disappointed.

Approximate cost: $14

These guys do a great menu from all day breakfasts through to lunch time sandwiches and pastas all at great prices. Their hot chocolate is yummy and I am always given a greeting and service with a smile.
