Really hungry and tossing up between the Japanese place, or this cafe. It started promisingly, with a chat with the waiter and I went with his recommendation of goats cheese lightly fried, in a salad. Coffee came quickly and the meal looked good when it arrived. Then it sort of went downhill. I asked for some water (no problem apparently), 5mins, 10mins, 15mins - still no water. Whilst the meal was lovely, it was rich and definitely needed the water. I wasn't able to get anyone's attention and certainly didn't know where the waiter had gone. I gave up trying to eat the rest and went to pay. I was finally asked by the person manning the register (and busy chatting up a woman), "how was everything?". I explained I had been waiting some time for water and couldn't eat the rest, a shrug of the shoulders in response and "I was busy, couldn't leave the register". It was after lunch, it wasn't was busy as there there were only a couple of other people having coffee... I've been to this place before and they wouldn't even turn down the loud music (it's a small place) because they were enjoying themselves too much. Though the menu is enticing, I give up. Next time Japanese.

Hi CityGirl, Thanks for the heads up in relation to the disappointing service. Regards, Reeces

I've ate here twice because my mum bought some vouchers online. I'm glad she bought two, because our first visit went very poorly but my second was great, so I'm willing to give them another try in the future. The first time they were out of what I wanted, then when my lasagna came it was still cold in the middle, and there was a piece of metal scrubber in my salad! The second time, I had the chicken boscaiola on grilled vegetables and it was wonderful -- the sauce was amazing and chicken was cooked perfectly. Both times the staff were great. They are outgoing a friendly guys who are entertaining to be around. The location is not that fantastic for ambiance since it is in the shopping centre right next to the Coles. But it is a convenient place to stop before shopping.
