We bought a voucher and they really jerked us around about getting a reservation. We had to go in the middle of the day on a work day. There is NO way they were actually full in the evenings. The meal we had was mediocre at best. I would feel sorry for anyone who actually paid full price for that overcooked 1/2 lobster. And the steak was not scotch fillet as the menu said, it was a cheap rump steak that you could get at a pub for $10 with better seasoning! Extremely disappointing.

My Mother's group has lunched at their street tables a couple of times and we find them very accommodating for families at this cafe. They have 4 high chairs which is a lot since it is a small cafe. The pastries are amazing traditional Italian fare. And the bacon rolls and sandwiches are tasty and economical options for the area. Highly recommend this cafe.

The locations is fantastic and the staff are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. It's a shame that the food let's them down. The prices are a tad high which is normal for being on the water, but the food does not validate these prices. We've had breakfast both times we went and it's okay but nothing special. And the little things are missing, like my eggs were cooked through when I ordered them soft and the toast had no butter. There are lots of places that do a better breakfast for less money.

We bought an online voucher for a limited dinner menu and tried out the Tart Cafe last night. The waitress was very attentive and quick with requests. Even though we the only ones eating outside for 80% of our meal, she never forgot to check in on how we were doing. My husband loved his chili bread but we both agreed that the garlic bread was not very good. Our mains of Moroccan lamb were delicious, but nothing like I had imagined. It was chunks of grilled lamb with potato and spinach in a bowl of cheesy white sauce. Definitely not the Moroccan flavours I've had in the past, but very tasty none-the-less. The chef did a great job of cooking the meat to order - I had to get mine well done because I'm pregnant and I know that's a strange one for lamb, but it was cooked right through but still nice and tender to eat. Dessert was sticky date pudding; I thought the thick, fudge-like icing was great, but the cake was too dry. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and would come back to see what other unique twists they put on their mains.

This review is for Le Petit Tarte Cafe & Patisserie, Glebe NSW

The strongest point of the cafe is it's location. We love heading upstairs to the enclosed patio overlooking the park. With a French name, I expected better quality in their pastries and sweets, but they are pretty average fare -- not bad, just satisfactory. The service is friendly but usually slow and sometimes forgetful. They serve T2 teas though, which is always a plus in my books.

This review is for Darbar, Glebe NSW

The decor of Darbar is very unique -- you're basically underground in a stone room. But the decorations have made it very warm and cozy down there and it's a neat place to dine. The staff are very attentive and we are always pleased with the service we get there. There are cheaper places for Indian on Glebe Point Road, but we still feel like coming here from time to time because it is usually quiet and intimate.

Jolly is a great place on Norton Street because it always seems to have people there. We enjoy sitting outside in the evening and having coffee/tea a cake. They do a great deal where it's $8 for a drink and cake. The staff are very friendly and we always have a great stay.

We love to go to The Different Drummer for a few cocktails. The two-for-one happy hour is great! I love the music they play and the atmosphere is wonderful, lively, and fun. A great place to hang out after work or before heading out for a big night.

I really enjoy the Well Connected Cafe and have been there lots of times. I love their prawn, avocado, and tomato on bread starter and their carrot cake. There's also seating upstairs with lots of private nooks and crannies and a balcony overlooking Glebe Point Road. I also enjoy the artwork they display throughout the cafe.

This is a nice little gem in Circular Quay, because it has a great view and affordable prices for the area. We were in a hurry to go to a performance at the SOH and the staff was fantastic at rushing the order and producing great tasting food. They are very professional and I will definitely be back the next time we see a show.
